The Oklahoma City Thunder/Seattle SuperSonics have made the playoffs 33 times in their franchise history. They came away with one championship. Let’s highlight their top five all-time leaders in playoff games played.

T-1. Nate McMillan, 98 Games

The SuperSonics selected McMillan in the second round of the 1986 Draft. He went on to spend his entire 12-season career with the franchise. He was an excellent defensive player, averaging at least 2.0 steals per game in a season five times. In the 1993-94 season, he led the NBA by averaging 3.0 steals per game. McMillan made the playoffs in all but one season of his career. That included a trip to the NBA Finals in 1995-96, which the SuperSonics lost to the Bulls in six games. Over 98 career playoff games, McMillan averaged 5.0 points, 5.2 assists and 1.3 steals.

T-1. Russell Westbrook, 98 Games

The SuperSonics selected Westbrook with the fourth pick in the 2008 Draft. He then spent the first 11 seasons of his career with the Thunder. He made eight All-Star teams and was named the NBA MVP of the 2016-17 season. He also led the league in points per game twice. The furthest that Westbrook advanced in the playoffs with the Thunder was the 2012 NBA Finals, where they lost in five games to the Miami Heat. Over 98 career playoff games with the Thunder, he averaged 25.4 points, 7.0 rebounds, 7.9 assists and 1.9 steals.

3. Gary Payton, 94 Games

Payton was selected second overall by the SuperSonics in the 1990 Draft. He made nine All-Star teams in his career and won the Defensive Player of the Year Award for the 1995-96 season. In that campaign, he led the league by averaging 2.9 steals per game. Payton and the Sonics advanced to the NBA Finals that same year, averaging 20.7 points, 5.1 rebounds and 6.8 assists along the way. Over 94 career playoff games with the SuperSonics, Payton averaged 17.7 points, 6.1 assists and 1.7 steals.

T-4. Nick Collison, 91 Games

The SuperSonics selected Collison with the 12th pick in the 2003 Draft. He spent his entire 14-season career with the franchise. He mostly came off the bench, starting just 177 of 910 career regular season games. Over his 91 playoff games, he made just two starts. He was also a member of the 2011-12 team that lost to the Heat in the NBA Finals. In his career, he averaged 4.3 points and 3.8 rebounds per game in the playoffs.

T-4. Kevin Durant, 91 Games

Durant was taken with the second pick in the 2007 Draft by the SuperSonics. He won the Rookie of the Year Award in 2007-08, averaging 20.3 points per game. He went on to make seven All-Star teams with the franchise and was named the MVP of the 2013-14 season. Durant also led the league in points per game four times. Like Westbrook and Collison, Durant was a member of the 2011-12 team that lost in the NBA Finals. Across his 91 playoff games with the team, Durant averaged 28.8 points, 8.0 rebounds and 3.7 assists.
