> What is Tap to Watch?
Tap to Watch makes it easier to find and watch live NBA games by seamlessly directing fans to live NBA games from league, team and a range of third-party digital platforms, (including X, Facebook, Snap, Fanatics, and many more) with a single tap, including all national games on ABC/ESPN, NBC/Peacock, and Prime Video, as well as nearly all local games. Find the game you want. Tap the link. Start watching.
> How can I watch tonight's games?
On NBA.com, the NBA App and NBA team sites, simply tap the yellow Tap to Watch play button for the game you want to watch. That's it. The Tap to Watch button appears on the Schedule and Games pages. Tap the button or broadcast logo to go directly to the appropriate service carrying the game. Depending on the game and your location, you may be directed to a national broadcast or streaming service, a local broadcast partner or NBA League Pass. If there are multiple ways to watch, you will be shown all the options. Once you make a selection, you will be taken directly to the correct streaming location. On third-party platforms such as social media sites, Tap to Watch links are integrated organically into each experience - this will look a little different for each partner, such as a link in a social media post or an embedded link in an article of the latest on-court storylines. Tapping them will take fans directly to the appropriate national or local live game telecast stream.
> Where can I find Tap to Watch?
Tap to Watch is available across NBA digital platforms, including NBA.com, the NBA App and NBA team websites and apps, as well as within select Scores and Schedule Pages across the digital ecosystem, such social media partner sites (i.e., Reddit, TikTok, Threads, X, etc.) and digital partner sites (i.e., Google OneBox, NBAStore.com, Yahoo). Look for the 'Tap to Watch', 'Watch Now' and 'Tune-In' call-to-actions accompanied with links when viewing a game on the Schedule or Games page.
> Where will I be directed to watch a game?
After you tap the Tap to Watch link on the Schedule or Games pages, you’ll be directed to the appropriate viewing option based on the game’s network and your location. This may be a national broadcast or streaming service, a local broadcast partner or NBA League Pass. Available options may include ABC/ESPN, NBC/Peacock, Prime Video and other authorized NBA broadcast and streaming partners, including local providers.
> Do I need NBA League Pass to use Tap to Watch?
No. Tap to Watch is not a subscription service and there is no separate fee to use it. If NBA League Pass is the appropriate viewing option for a game, you'll be directed there. If another service is carrying the game, you'll be directed to that service instead, which may require a subscription or TV/streaming package to watch the game.
> What if I can't watch the game after selecting Watch?
If you're unable to access after selecting Tap to Watch, first confirm that you're signed in to the destination service and have access to that provider's content. Tap to Watch helps connect you to the appropriate viewing option for the game, but access requirements are determined by the broadcast or streaming partner. Depending on the game and your location, this may include a TV provider login, streaming subscription, or local broadcast partner.
> Does Tap to Watch work outside the United States?
Game availability and viewing options vary by country and region. Where supported, Tap to Watch will direct you to available viewing options in your location.
