Jalen Green (2002)

Green was selected by Houston with the second overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, finishing fourth in Rookie of the Year voting. That was followed up by a breakout sophomore season, averaging 22.1 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game. He took a slight step back in 2023-24, but he’s bounced back with 21.4 ppg, 4.3 rpg and 2.8 apg in 2024-25. 

Jameer Nelson (1982)

Nelson was selected 20th overall by the Denver Nuggets, but a Draft-day trade sent him to the Orlando Magic. He played 10 seasons in Orlando, averaging 12.6 points, 3.1 rebounds, 5.4 assists and 1 steal per game there and made his sole All-Star appearance in 2008. He played for the Dallas Mavericks, Boston Celtics, New Orleans Pelicans, Detroit Pistons and Nuggets over his final four seasons, retiring in 2018.
