LAS VEGAS – Day 2 of the 2026 NBA Summer League was just as entertaining as Day 1 as other top draft picks showed up and lived up to the hype. The game of the day was the Memphis Grizzlies vs. Chicago Bulls with the No. 3 pick Cameron Boozer going head-to-head with the No. 4 pick Caleb Wilson. It was a back-and-forth battle and the Grizzlies came out on top 97-96 but Wilson was the best player on the court.
It was also a very productive day for a few second round picks: Bryce Hopkins (Nuggets), Ryan Conwell (Heat) and Meleek Thomas (Cavaliers) all had standout games and looked comfortable in their Las Vegas debut.
Below is a breakdown of those players’ performances and some of the other top performers from Day 2.
Caleb Wilson, Chicago Bulls
Caleb Wilson shoots 12-for-21 to rack up a game-high 35 points in Friday's debut at the 2026 Las Vegas Summer League.
Wilson was incredible from start-to-finish for the Bulls, but it wasn’t enough to get the win. He scored the first bucket of the game – a 3-pointer at the top of the key – and didn’t look back from there. Wilson finished with 35 points (12-21 FGs, 7-11 3PM), five rebounds, three blocks and two steals. He was everywhere defensively and even hit tough shots over Boozer.
Cameron Boozer and Cedric Coward, Memphis Grizzlies
Boozer matched the physicality of the forwards on the Bulls and was patient as a passer when he caught it on the wing. He was the best player in college basketball this past season and carried that confidence to the Grizzlies. Boozer only had 10 points at the half but was able to connect on shots down the stretch. He finished with 23 points, six rebounds and four assists in the 97-96 win.

Coward looked like a man playing amongst boys in his first Summer League game against the Bulls. He got to wherever he wanted on the court, was backing down players in the mismatch and impacted both ends of the court. Coward is in his second season after being the No. 11 overall pick in the 2025 Draft. He finished with 17 points, 10 rebounds and five assists.
Egor Dëmin and Mikel Brown Jr., Brooklyn Nets
Nets first round draft pick Mikel Brown Jr. scores 20 points in a Summer League win over the New York Knicks.
The backcourt duo combined for 40 points in the 91-65 win over the Knicks. Dëmin was last year’s lottery pick for the Nets and set the tone in the first half. 15 of his 20 points came in the first 20 minutes and he shot 3-for-9 from behind the arc. Dëmin also added three rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block in the win.
Brown, the No. 6 pick this season, took two quarters of action to get comfortable but fell into rhythm in the second half, scoring 18 of his 20 points and adding three assists and two steals.
Cameron Carr, Los Angeles Lakers
Carr loves to play above the rim and that’s exactly what he did Friday night. He came off a 26-point performance at the California Classic last week and looked very comfortable on the court. The 6-foot-6 shooting guard is deadly in transition and he had a couple impressive dunks that got the late-night crowd going in Thomas & Mack Arena. Carr was the No. 24 pick after spending his sophomore season at Baylor. He led the Lakers to a 96-84 win over the Thunder and finished with 18 points, two rebounds and two blocks.

Ryan Conwell, Miami Heat
Conwell was the No. 37 pick in the draft after playing his senior season at Louisville. He led the ACC in 3-pointers last season (112) and took a few possessions to settle into his jumper. He shot 2-for-8 from long range, but was efficient closer in, finishing with 19 points and added three assists in the Heat’s 119-86 win over the Bucks.
Bryce Hopkins, Denver Nuggets
Hopkins scored 24 points (9-13 FGs) in 26 minutes and looked very comfortable with the pace and physicality of the NBA game. He did a little bit of everything defensively, grabbing four rebounds, forcing three steals and adding two blocks. The 6-foot-7 wing played his senior season at St. John’s and was previously at Providence and Kentucky before being the 49th player selected in the draft.

Meleek Thomas, Cleveland Cavaliers
Thomas was the No. 34 pick in the draft after playing one year at Arkansas. The 6-foot-3 shooting guard was patient throughout the game and didn’t get sped up by the Pacers defense. In 27 minutes of action, Thomas had zero turnovers and made great passes off the pick-and-roll. He finished with 20 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and one steal in the 99-93 loss to the Pacers.
