Sunday’s NBA 2K26 Summer League championship game was set as Sacramento and Charlotte both cruised in the semifinals, leaving one final day of competition in Las Vegas.
Here are the players who starred in Saturday’s penultimate slate:
Isaac Jones, Sacramento Kings
Jones picked a great time to have by far his best game of the summer, tripling his previous scoring average in Las Vegas with 36 points on ridiculous 13-for-17 shooting as the unbeaten Kings advanced to Sunday’s championship game.
Not even first-round prospects Devin Carter and Nique Clifford could claim the spotlight from Jones, who scored nine points in the final 2:55 to almost single-handedly stave off a wild Toronto rally that cut Sacramento’s game-high lead of 22 down to just one.

Dillon Jones & Jamir Watkins, Washington Wizards
The two fringe prospects came up with quality all-around performances in their last chance of the summer to impress. Jones led all players with 25 points and 11 rebounds along with three assists, two steals and a block. Watkins was almost as productive, piling up 23 points eight rebounds, two assists and five steals.
Combined with a previous eight-steal game, Watkins leaves Las Vegas having averaged 3.8 thefts in his five appearances. Jones, meanwhile, was able to take full advantage of his 36 minutes after having seen only sporadic playing time coming into Saturday’s contest.
Jaylen Sims, Charlotte Hornets
Sims did little else but score against Oklahoma City. But if you’re as productive and efficient as he was, such single-minded focus is understandable. Still seeking a permanent home, the free agent guard needed just 25 minutes and 14 shots to pile up his game-high 25 points.
The outburst, which included four 3-pointers, helped dominate the Thunder to such an extent the benches were cleared midway through the third quarter. While that might have prevented Sims from pouring in even more points, it also gave him another opportunity to grab somebody’s eye in Sunday’s title game.
David Jones Garcia, San Antonio Spurs
Has Jones Garcia done enough to earn a contract? If not, he can at least take satisfaction from making about as strong a case for himself as he possibly could in Las Vegas, finishing as one of the Summer League’s top scorers at 21.6 points per game.
The Dominican sharpshooter capped off his summer with 23 points and four 3-pointers as San Antonio handled Detroit. Combined with his strong showing last season with Mexico City in the G League, he at least seems to have attracted overseas interest with several European powers reportedly taking note.
