Bernard King (1956): King was selected seventh overall in the 1977 NBA Draft, finishing third in Rookie of the Year voting in a remarkable debut season. He averaged 24.2 points, 9.5 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.5 steals in his first campaign and took his game to the next level when he joined the Golden State Warriors in 1980. King made three All-Star appearances over the next five seasons between the Warriors and New York Knicks, earning MVP votes in each of those years. He finished second in voting in 1983 and led the league in scoring with 32.9 points per game in 1984. He made his fourth and final All-Star appearance in 1991 before retiring in 1993. King was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2013.
Corliss Williamson (1973): Williamson was the 13th overall pick in the 1995 NBA Draft by the Sacramento Kings. While Williamson got off to a slow start, he broke out with a career-high 17.7 points per game in his third year. He spent his first eight years with the Kings and became one of the best bench players in the league when he joined the Detroit Pistons in 2000. Williamson won Sixth Man of the Year in 2001 and received votes for that award over the next three years. He also won a championship with them in 2004 and officially retired in 2007.
