Gary Payton II (1992): Payton II is the son of Hall-of-Famer Gary Payton, one of the best defensive players in NBA history, but has carved out a wonderful career of his own. Payton II was an undrafted out of Oregon State, and spent time with the Houston Rockets, Milwaukee Bucks, Los Angeles Lakers, Portland Trail Blazers and Washington Wizards before joining the Golden State Warriors in 2020. Payton II was a key role player during the Warriors’ 2022 NBA Finals run. Known for his tenacious defense and non-stop effort, Payton is averaging 6.0 points, 2.9 rebounds, 0.9 assists and 1.1 steals over his five years with the Warriors.
