Louie Dampier (1944): A standout point guard at Kentucky, Dampier was selected 38th overall in the 1967 NBA Draft. He played his first nine seasons with the Kentucky Colonels in the ABA. He made made seven All-Star appearances, won the 1975 ABA and made the All-ABA team four times. Throughout his nine-year career, Dampier averaged 15.9 points, 2.6 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 0.8 steals per game. Dampier wrapped up his basketball career with the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2015.
Carlos Boozer (1981): In college, Boozer was one of the best players in the country at Duke. Many were surprised that he fell to the second round of the 2002 NBA Draft. Boozer proved to be a steal by the Cleveland Cavaliers, finishing seventh in Rookie of the Year voting in his debut season. After only two years in Cleveland, Boozer joined the Utah Jazz in 2004 where he became a dominant force. The big man made two All-Star appearances in his six seasons with the Jazz, averaging 21 points and 11 rebounds per game across those two seasons. He closed his career with four successful seasons with the Chicago Bulls and played one final season with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2015. Boozer averaged 16.2 points and 9.5 rebounds throughout his 13-year career.
