What We Know About Saturday’s Games

-The Lakers and Warriors battle on ABC: Los Angeles (34-24) is looking to snap a three-game losing streak here while Golden State (31-28) has lost nine of its last 15 outings. These teams have split their two matchups this season.

-The Hornets continue their hot streak against the Trail Blazers: Charlotte has been one of the best teams in the NBA over the last month, and they got another blowout win over the Blazers. That gives the Hornets a 13-3 record across their last 16 outings.

-The Heat defeat the Rockets, 115-105: Miami shot 50 percent from the field and 36 percent from 3-point range while holding Houston to 43 percent from the field and 25 percent from long range. The Heat had seven players reach double figures in scoring.

Pelicans Lead Jazz at the Half, 65-40

New Orleans closed that half on a 15-0 run to take this commanding lead.

The Pelicans shot 50 percent from the field and 42 percent from 3-point range while holding the Jazz to 27 percent from the field and 22 percent from long range.

Saddiq Bey has 18 points and two rebounds.

Herbert Jones had 10 points, six rebounds and four assists.

Lakers Lead Warriors After 3Q, 99-72

Los Angeles looks dominant in the highlight game of the night, maintaining a double-digit lead since the end of the opening quarter.

The Lakers are shooting 55 percent from the field and 52 percent from 3-point range while holding the Warriors to 42 percent from the field and 25 percent from long range.

Luka Dončić has 26 points, six rebounds and eight assists.

LeBron James has 20 points, six rebounds and six assists.

No Golden State player has more than 12 points.

Pelicans Lead Jazz After Q1, 27-22

In the final game of the night, New Orleans has a narrow lead over Utah.

The Pelicans shot 47 percent from the field while holding the Jazz to 27 percent shooting.

Saddiq Bey leads the way with eight points after dropping 42 points on Thursday.

Ace Bailey leads Utah with seven points and four rebounds.

Los Angeles shot 53 percent from the field and 53 percent from 3-point range in that opening half.

LeBron James had 20 points, four rebounds and four assists.

Austin Reaves tallied 13 points and two assists.

Raptors Defeat Wizards, 134-125

While Washington held the lead for the majority of the first half, Toronto dominated the final 24 minutes.

The Raptors outscored the Wizards 73-61 in the second half, shooting over 70 percent from the field in that half.

All five Toronto starters scored at least 18 points apiece.

Immanuel Quickley led the way with 27 points and 11 assists.

Brandon Ingram had 24 points, five rebounds and five assists.

Lakers Lead Warriors After Q1, 33-20

Los Angeles got off to a hot start, shooting 55 percent from the field and 56 percent from 3-point range.

Austin Reaves is 4-for-4 from the field, leading the way with 11 points and two assists.

Jakob Poeltl leads Toronto with 14 points, four rebounds and two assists.

Wizards Lead Raptors After Q1, 33-25

Washington ripped off a 12-2 run near the end of that quarter to take this lead.

The Wizards shot 62 percent from the field and 54 percent from 3-point range.

Brandon Ingram led Toronto with eight points.

All five Washington starters scored, with Bub Carrington leading the way with six points.
