Donte DiVincenzo (1997)
DiVincenzo made a name for himself when he was the best player in Villanova’s championship game back in 2018. That caught the eyes of scouts, earning DiVincenzo the 17th pick in the 2018 NBA Draft. The “Big Ragu” was mostly a reserve in his first two seasons with the Milwaukee Bucks, but he really broke out in 2020. The shooting guard averaged 10.4 points, 5.8 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.1 steals that year but was traded to the Sacramento Kings in 2021.
He joined the Golden State Warriors the following year but had his best season in 2023 with the New York Knicks when he joined all of his old Villanova teammates. DiVincenzo averaged 15.5 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.3 steals in that breakout campaign. He was a key piece to the Karl-Anthony Towns trade over the 2024 offseason and now plays for the Minnesota Timberwolves.
