Ivey was the fifth pick in the 2022 NBA Draft by the Pistons, finishing sixth in Rookie of the Year voting in that debut season.
Ivey averaged 16.3 points, 3.9 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 0.8 steals that year, stepping up after Cade Cunningham’s left the season due to injury. Before a season-ending leg injury in 2025, Ivey averaged a career-high 17.6 points, 4.1 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 0.9 steals per game.
