-Houston holds off Dallas on ABC. This game was tied with less than a minute remaining, but the Rockets closed on a 4-0 run to prevail, 111-107. All five of Houston’s starters had at least 13 points and five rebounds. They recorded 33 assists while committing only five turnovers.

Joel Embiid drops 40 in a win over New Orleans. The former MVP is averaging over 30 points per game across the last two weeks, and he added to that stellar stretch here with 40 points and 11 rebounds. The Sixers beat the Pelicans 124-114, while shooting 48 percent from the field and 47 percent from 3-point range.

-Charlotte continues dominance in matinee win over San Antonio. The Hornets picked up their sixth straight win, beating a San Antonio team that sits third in the Western Conference. Brandon Miller led Charlotte in that 111-106 victory, collecting 26 points and eight rebounds.

-Joel Embiid had 40 points, 11 rebounds and four assists in a win over the New Orleans Pelicans.

-Saddiq Bey finished with 34 points, six rebounds and three assists in that defeat.

-Andrew Nembhard tallied 26 points, six rebounds and 10 assists in a win over the Atlanta Hawks.

-Jalen Johnson generated 33 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists and three steals in that defeat.

-Julius Randle registered 27 points, seven rebounds and seven assists in a victory over the Memphis Grizzlies.

-Ayo Dosunmu amassed 29 points, eight rebounds and nine assists on 11-for-16 shooting in a win over the Miami Heat.

-Cooper Flagg finished with 34 points, 12 rebounds and five assists in a loss to the Houston Rockets.
