What we know after Saturday’s games 🗒️👇

-Minnesota pulls out a road win in Miami. The Timberwolves started the fourth quarter on a 19-4 run to take command of their victory against the Heat. Anthony Edwards led the way with 33 points, while Julius Randle and Rudy Gobert both recorded double-doubles.

-Philly grabs a road win in New York. The Sixers snagged their third-straight victory with a win against the Knicks. The studs came to play, with Tyrese Maxey, Joel Embiid and VJ Edgecombe combining for 88 points on 33-of-53 shooting.

-Jaylen Brown drops 50 in a win over the Clippers. Boston could not be stopped in their matchup with LA, dropping 146 points while hitting 24 3-pointers. Brown finished with 50 points, three rebounds and five assists on 18-of-26 shooting.

-Jaylen Brown finished with 50 points, three rebounds and six assists in a victory against the Los Angeles Clippers.

-Anthony Edwards had 33 points, three rebounds and five assists in a win over the Miami Heat.

-Jalen Johnson generated 30 points, seven rebounds and nine assists in a defeat to the Toronto Raptors.

-Brandon Ingram collected 29 points, nine rebounds, two steals and two blocks on 11-of-15 shooting in a victory over the Atlanta Hawks.

-Tyrese Maxey tallied 36 points, eight rebounds, four assists and two blocks in a win over the New York Knicks.

-Deni Avdija amassed 29 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists in a victory against the San Antonio Spurs.

-Nikola Vučević compiled 28 points, seven rebounds and eight assists in a loss to the Charlotte Hornets.

-Kevin Durant totaled 34 points, five rebounds, seven assists and three blocks in a loss to the Dallas Mavericks.

-Stephen Curry collected 31 points, two rebounds and five assists in a win over the Utah Jazz.

-Lauri Markkanen had 35 points and six rebounds in that defeat.

Boston has now won 17 of their last 22 games.

They shot 44 percent from the field and 47 percent (24-of-51) from long range in this victory.

Jaylen Brown had 50 points, three rebounds and five assists.

Warriors Defeat Jazz, 123-114

Golden State appeared to be in trouble when they trailed by double-digits in the second quarter, but they rode a – second half to their comeback victory.

The Warriors have won six of their last eight outings.

Stephen Curry collected 31 points, two rebounds and five assists.

Lauri Markkanen led Utah with 35 points and six rebounds.

Celtics Lead Clippers After 3Q, 113-99

There were 14 combined threes between these teams in what was a high-scoring quarter. Both teams hit seven apiece.

Jaylen Brown had 39 points, two rebounds and five assists.

Derrick White has 29 points, three rebounds and six assists.

Those two have combined to shoot 23-of-36 from the field.

James Harden has 14 points, three rebounds and 12 assists.

Golden State needed a big third quarter, and they got one.

They outscored Utah in that frame, 42-31, to take this narrow lead into the final quarter.

Lauri Markkanen leads Utah with 31 points, four rebounds and two assists.

Celtics Lead Clippers at the Half, 71-63

Both offenses were in full force in the opening half.

Los Angeles shot 56 percent while Boston connected on 53 percent.

Both teams only committed three turnovers apiece.

Derrick White had 23 points, three rebounds and five assists, while Jaylen Brown amassed 20 points, two rebounds and three assists.

Utah is looking for a massive upset in Golden State.

The Jazz are shooting 59 percent from the field while holding the Warriors below 46 percent shooting.

Boston’s offense was unstoppable through the opening 12 minutes, shooting 63 percent from the field and 50 percent from three-point range.

LA wasn’t too shabby either, shooting 54 percent.

Derrick White has 14 points, two rebounds and four assists.

Jaylen Brown tallied 13 points and two assists.

James Harden had four points and five assists.

Mavericks Defeat Rockets, 110-104

Dallas took control of this game when they outscored Houston in the second and third quarters, 62-44.

Anthony Davis led the way with 26 points, 12 rebounds, three assists and five blocks.

Max Christie collected 24 points, seven rebounds and two assists on 10-of-13 shooting.

Kevin Durant led Houston with 34 points, five rebounds, seven assists and three blocks.

Trail Blazers Defeat Spurs, 115-110

There were 10 ties and 10 lead changes in this game, with Portland maintaining the lead for all but a few minutes.

Deni Avdija led Portland with 29 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists.

Donovan Clingan collected 24 points, 12 rebounds and four assists.

Luke Kornet led the Spurs with 23 points, eight rebounds, three assists and five blocks.

Hornets Defeat Bulls, 112-99

While Chicago had a game-high 18-point lead midway through the second quarter, Charlotte rode a 62-41 second half to this comeback victory.

Miles Bridges led Charlotte with 26 points and 14 rebounds.

Brandon Miller had 22 points, six rebounds and four assists.

Nikola Vučević led the Bulls with 28 points, seven rebounds and eight assists on 11-of-15 shooting.

Sixers Defeat Knicks, 130-119

Philadelphia has now won three straight games, scoring at least 30 points in all four quarters of this impressive road victory.

The Sixers shot 54 percent while holding the Knicks to 44 percent shooting.

Tyrese Maxey tallied 36 points, eight rebounds and four assists.

Joel Embiid had 26 points, 10 rebounds and five assists. VJ Edgecombe also scored 26 points.

All three of those guys shot 60 percent or above.

Jalen Brunson led NY with 31 points, four rebounds and four assists.

Karl-Anthony Towns totaled 23 points, 14 rebounds, two assists and two steals.

Raptors Defeat Hawks, 134-117

Toronto took care of business behind a 27-11 fourth quarter.

The Raptors shot 53 percent from the field while holding the Hawks to 46 percent.

Brandon Ingram and RJ Barrett led the Raptors with 29 points apiece. They combined to shoot 22-of-34 from the field.

Nickeil Alexander-Walker led Atlanta with 31 points, four rebounds and three assists.

Jalen Johnson had 30 points, seven rebounds and nine assists.

Mavs Lead Rockets at the Half, 57-50

The Mavericks closed the opening half on an 11-2 run to take this lead.

Anthony Davis leads the way with 16 points, five rebounds and three blocks.

Cooper Flagg collected eight points, five rebounds and five assists.

Kevin Durant leads Houston with 16 points, two rebounds and four assists.

Blazers Lead Spurs at the Half, 55-51

Portland held San Antonio to 40 percent from the field and 25 percent from long range.

Donovan Clingan is having a career night, collecting 18 points and eight rebounds on 7-of-8 shooting in the opening half.

Julian Champagnie leads San Antonio with 14 points, seven rebounds and two assists.

Bulls Lead Hornets at the Half, 58-50

The Bulls shot 53 percent from the field in that opening half while holding the Hornets below 38 percent shooting.

Chicago doubled up Charlotte in assists, 22-11.

Ayo Dosunmu led the bench with 14 points and three assists.

The Sixers lead the Knicks at the half, 66-58

The Sixers shot 54 percent from the field in that opening half while holding the Knicks to 44 percent.

Jalen Brunson is carrying NY with 21 points.

Bulls Lead Hornets After Q1, 39-27

Chicago’s offense was humming in that first quarter, shooting 74 percent from the field while recording 16 assists.

Nikola Vučević was the focal point of the offense in the absence of Josh Giddey, collecting nine points, two rebounds and six assists.

Ayo Dosunmu had nine points off the bench while knocking down this half-court buzzer beater.

Miles Bridges and PJ Hall lead Charlotte with seven points apiece.

Raptors Lead Hawks After Q1, 35-29

Toronto forced five turnovers from Atlanta while committing just one on their end.

Brandon Ingram is off to a hot start, leading the way with 12 points and four rebounds on 5-of-6 shooting.

Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Jalen Johnson lead ATL with six points apiece.

The Sixers offense looks unstoppable early, shooting 61 percent from the field in the opening frame.

One of our previous posts was about Anthony Edwards setting a record, but here’s another former top pick setting a high standard.

Karl-Anthony Towns and ANT actually played together throughout most of their careers, and Towns joined some elite company here.

He is just the 10th player in NBA history with 15,000 points, 7,500 rebounds and 1,000 threes.

He is also the youngest player to reach those thresholds.
