Cavaliers Defeat Kings, 132-126

Cleveland rode a 39-30 fourth quarter to their road victory.

The Cavs shot 29-for-32 from the free-throw line while the Kings connected on just 14-for-20.

Donovan Mitchell led the way with 35 points, two rebounds, four assists, two steals and two blocks.

Jarrett Allen shot 11-for-12 from the field to finish with 29 points and 10 rebounds.

James Harden had 23 points, two rebounds and eight assists in his debut.

Nique Clifford led the Kings with a career-high 30 points, four rebounds, four assists, two steals and two blocks.

Trail Blazers Defeat Grizzlies, 122-115

Portland rode a 34-19 fourth quarter to this comeback victory.

Jerami Grant led the Blazers with 29 points, five rebounds and three assists.

Donovan Clingan collected 20 points, 19 rebounds, three assists and two blocks.

Olivier-Maxence Prosper led Memphis with a career-high 25 points and five rebounds.

Sixers Defeat Suns, 109-103

Philly maintained the lead for the final three quarters of this game, getting their lead up to 19 points at times.

The Sixers shot 47 percent from the field and 38 percent from 3-point range while the Suns shot 40 percent from the field and 24 percent from long range.

Joel Embiid led the way with 33 points, nine rebounds and three assists.

Tyrese Maxey tallied 29 points, nine rebounds and six assists.

Dillon Brooks led Phoenix with 28 points.

Devin Booker had 21 points, two rebounds and nine assists in his return to action.

Grizzlies-Trail Blazers Tied at 63-63 at the Half

There were five ties and eight lead changes in the opening half, with neither team leading by more than eight points.

Olivier-Maxence Prosper leads Memphis with 15 points on 5-for-5 from 3-point range off the bench.

Jerami Grant leads Portland with 21 points.

Donovan Clingan had nine points and 11 rebounds.

Cavaliers Lead Kings at the Half, 57-55

Cleveland shot 12-for-13 from the free-throw line while Sacramento was just 6-for-11.

Jarrett Allen leads the Cavs with 17 points and eight rebounds on 7-for-7 shooting.

James Harden has three points and four assists in his Cleveland debut.

Nique Clifford leads the Kings with 14 points and two assists.

Lakers Defeat Warriors, 105-99

Los Angeles took command of this game behind a 38-29 third quarter.

The Lakers shot 51 percent from the field and 41 percent from 3-point range.

LeBron James led the way with 20 points, seven rebounds and 10 assists.

Austin Reaves led the bench with 16 points, five rebounds and eight assists.

Moses Moddy led Golden State with 25 points, four rebounds, two assists and three steals.

Nuggets Defeat Bulls, 136-120

Denver kick-started the fourth quarter on a 20-2 run to take command of this game, outscoring Chicago in that final frame, 39-16.

Nikola Jokić surpassed Oscar Robertson for the second-most triple-doubles in NBA history, finishing with 22 points, 14 rebounds, 17 assists and four blocks.

Jamal Murray tallied 28 points, three rebounds and 11 assists.

Matas Buzelis led the Bulls with 21 points, eight rebounds and three assists.

Nikola Jokić Triple-Double Machine

The three-time MVP just surpassed Oscar Robertson for the second-most triple-doubles in NBA history.

The big man has 20 points, 14 rebounds and 16 assists against the Bulls.

Denver leads by 11 points in the fourth quarter.

He also recorded his 1,000th career steal to cap off an incredible night.

Hornets Defeat Hawks, 126-119

This marks Charlotte’s ninth straight victory, which is the longest winning streak in the NBA right now.

There were 12 ties and 23 lead changes in this game, with neither team ever grabbing a double-digit lead.

Miles Bridges led Charlotte with 26 points, six rebounds and five assists.

Jalen Johnson led Atlanta with 31 points, nine rebounds, seven assists and three steals.

Magic Defeat Jazz, 120-117

Orlando closed this game on an 8-2 run to prevail.

They outscored Utah in the fourth quarter, 33-23.

Paolo Banchero led the Magic with 23 points, seven rebounds, eight assists and three steals.

Lauri Markkanen led the Jazz with 27 points and seven rebounds.

Bulls Lead Nuggets at the Half, 65-59

Chicago is looking for an upset win over Denver.

The newly-acquired Anfernee Simons leads Chicago with 13 points and two rebounds.

Nikola Jokić is on triple-double watch for Denver, collecting nine points, 11 rebounds and seven assists.

Warriors Lead Lakers After Q1, 21-20

LA shot 4-for-9 from three-point range in that opening quarter while Golden State was just 2-for-17.

Gary Payton II leads the Warriors with seven points.

Rui Hachimura leads the Lakers with five points.

In this showcase game on NBATV, we have a tied ballgame at the half.

There have been seven ties and 13 lead changes so far.

Castle already has a career-high 34 points in San Antonio’s demolition of Dallas.

He’s up to 34 points, eight rebounds, 10 assists and three steals on 13-for-15 from the field.

Spurs Lead Mavericks at the Half, 81-67

San Antonio shot 57 percent from the field and 48 percent from 3-point range while recording 22 assists in that opening half.

Stephon Castle collected 21 points, five rebounds and eight assists.

Devin Vassell has 17 points, four rebounds and four assists.

Cooper Flagg led Dallas with 11 points, three rebounds and three assists.

Castle scores 21 in 1st half 😤

San Antonio leads 81-67 at halftime over the Mavericks, thanks in part to an incredible showing from Stephon Castle. He’s a perfect 8-8 from the field, including three from long distance, while also racking up five rebounds and seven assists.

Cooper Flagg had a slow start to the game, with only two first quarter points, but the top overall draft pick is now up to 11 at the break.

The Spurs are enjoying an exceptional second quarter from rookie Carter Bryant. It’s easy to see why he was the 14th pick in the draft, as he’s finishing alley-oops, drilling threes, and flying around on defense to help grow his team’s lead.

Klay catching fire ♨️

Thompson has helped the Mavericks reclaim some momentum in the second quarter. The sharp-shooting veteran is up to 16 points on the night and is the only Dallas player in double figures as his team trails by two with 6:40 to play until halftime.

Houston picks up the win in OKC 🚀

Even without the MVP, the Thunder battled to the final minute against the Rockets in defeat. Jabari Smith, Tari Eason and Kevin Durant each sprang for 20 points. Eason sank five threes while filling in as the starter for Amen Thompson who battled an illness and did not play.

Kevin Durant made history in his former stomping grounds. He moved into ninth all-time in the NBA for field goals made, and became just the 10th player ever to make 2,300 threes.

The final four minutes are underway between the Rockets and Thunder. Houston leads by six, as the teams have had little separation throughout the second half.

Mavs Warm-ups

There will be some new faces in Mavericks uniforms tonight. The Mavericks sent Anthony Davis to the Wizards, along with D’Angelo Russell, Dante Exum and Jaden Hardy.

Dallas received Khris Middleton, AJ Johnson, Marvin Bagley III, and Malaki Branham in exchange. Head Coach Jason Kidd will surely deploy a new-look rotation against San Antonio.

Rookie Cooper Flagg enters this game riding four straight games of 30-plus points. Tonight he’ll square off with former first overall pick Victor Wembanyama.

OKC-HOU Final frame starts now

The third quarter was a perfect example of the saying ‘a game of runs.’ Houston trailed to enter, but quickly erased the deficit. Oklahoma City responded by grabbing another seven-point lead, which Houston answered again as OKC’s offense went cold to close the quarter.

Alperen Sengun has secured his second triple-double of the season.

Nets take down Wiz 👏

The final score reflects an improved effort from Washington in the second half, because this one was pretty much over at halftime. Brooklyn led by 33 after two quarters, and Washington was never able to get back within striking range.

Seven different Nets finished in double figures scoring, while Day’Ron Sharpe and Danny Wolf were huge off of Brooklyn’s bench. The backup bigs combined for 35 points, 16 rebounds and 10 assists.

Wizards rookie Will Riley had the best game of his young career scoring-wise. The 21st overall has a new career-high after putting in 27 points, while also adding three steals and a block.

The Rockets started the second half where they left off in the second quarter. After falling down by as many as 15 points, the game is tied again early in the third.

Rockets stay within reach

Houston was tested in the second quarter. The Thunder had momentum firmly on their side, but the Rockets responded with tough buckets inside to close the halftime deficit to a manageable six points.

The Thunder raced away from the Rockets after ending the first quarter tied at 28.

Jared McCain was acquired by the reigning champs at the trade deadline, giving them an offensive boost in the backcourt. Tonight, McCain made his team debut and the crowd is embracing him with open arms.

Nets crushing Wizards at half

This one has been all Brooklyn from the jump. The Nets added to their 26-point first-quarter lead with another efficient and high-scoring performance in the second quarter.

Nolan Traore is one of the many bright spots for the Nets, as the rookie first-rounder continues to build confidence.

Eight different Thunder players scored in the opening quarter as the team tries to protect homecourt without star players Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jalen Williams in the lineup.

The Rockets sank five threes in the opening quarter, but only shot 1-4 from the free throw line. Amen Thompson has not played thus far.

The early timeout appeared to do the trick, as Oklahoma City quickly erased an early Rockets lead. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jalen Williams are sidelined today, but the Thunder’s depth is filling the void so far, and its defense remains active.

The Rockets forced an early Oklahoma City timeout after opening an early barrage of three-pointers. Houston is playing with Amen Thompson coming off the bench for this one, but he is yet to enter the game halfway through the period.
