Live Updates: Lakers Defeat Nuggets in OT

What We Know After Saturday’s Games

-Lakers defeat Nuggets in OT on ABC: This was an epic game between some Western Conference foes. Austin Reaves hit a game-tying shot to send the game into overtime, and Luka Dončić parlayed that into a game-winning shot in overtime. Dončić and Nikola Jokić recorded triple-doubles.

The Magic defeat the Heat, 121-117: Orlando got out to a 22-point lead early on and never relinquished the lead after that. This gives Orlando seven straight wins, and they are now 5-0 against Miami this year. Paolo Banchero led the way with 27 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.

-Kings snag upset win over the Clippers on ESPN: Los Angeles won six of seven coming into this matchup, but Sacramento snagged their biggest road win of the season. Their frontcourt was unbelievable, with DeMar DeRozan, Precious Achiuwa and Maxime Raynaud combining for 75 points on 22-for-30 from the field.

Top Performers of the Night

-Quentin Grimes collected 28 points, eight rebounds and four assists in a win over the Brooklyn Nets.

-Jalen Johnson generated 23 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists in a victory over the Milwaukee Bucks.

-Victor Wembanyama had 32 points, 12 rebounds, eight assists, two steals and four blocks in a win over the Charlotte Hornets.

-Jayson Tatum tallied 20 points, 14 rebounds and seven assists in a win against the Washington Wizards.

-Paolo Banchero provided 27 points, eight rebounds and seven assists in a road win over the Miami Heat.

-Luka Dončić totaled 30 points, 11 rebounds, 13 assists and three blocks in an OT win over the Denver Nuggets.

-Nikola Jokić finished with 24 points, 16 rebounds, 14 assists and five steals in that defeat.

-Austin Reaves also had 32 points, seven rebounds and six assists.

-Russell Westbrook had 12 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists and four steals in a victory against the Los Angeles Clippers.

-Precious Achiuwa accrued 25 points, 13 rebounds and four blocks in that game as well.

Kings Defeat Clippers, 118-109

This was a massive upset win over Sacramento.

The Kings shot 59 percent from the field and 44 percent from 3-point range while holding the Clippers to 46 percent from the field and 33 percent from long range.

Precious Achiuwa provided 25 points, 13 rebounds and four blocks

Russell Westbrook tallied 12 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists and four steals

DeMar DeRozan finished with 27 points and seven assists.

Kawhi Leonard led LA with 31 points, six rebounds and two blocks.

Clippers Closing in on Comeback

Los Angeles has trailed for most of this game, but they’re on a 20-4 run right now to cut the lead down to three.

They’re looking for their seventh win over their last eight games.

Kings Lead Clippers After 3Q, 92-75

This could be one of the most shocking wins of the season.

LA won six of its last seven, while Sacramento has only four wins since January 17.

The Kings are shooting 60 percent while holding the Clippers to 42 percent.

Precious Achiuwa, DeMar DeRozan and Maxime Raynaud have combined for 64 points on 28-for-33 shooting.

Kawhi Leonard leads LA with 31 points, two rebounds, six assists and two steals.

Kings Lead Clippers at the Half, 68-54

Sacramento got off to a surprising start, taking a halftime lead on the road.

The Kings are shooting 67 percent from the field while holding the Clippers to 47 percent.

Precious Achiuwa leads the Kings with 18 points and four rebounds.

DeMar DeRozan has 14 points and four assists.

Kawhi Leonard leads LA with 17 points and four rebounds.

Lakers Defeat Nuggets in OT, 127-125

This marks the Lakers fifth straight victory.

Luka Dončić was the hero, hitting this game-winning shot with 0.5 seconds remaining.

He finished with 30 points, 11 rebounds, 13 assists and three blocks.

Austin Reaves had 32 points, seven rebounds and six assists.

Nikola Jokić led Denver with 24 points, 16 rebounds, 14 assists and five steals.

Orlando held a double-digit lead for most of this game, but Miami got the margin down to one shot in the closing seconds.

The Magic are 5-0 against the Heat this season.

The Magic out-rebounded the Heat, 49-32.

Jaime Jaquez led Miami with 22 points, two rebounds, seven assists and three steals.

That’s the Magic’s highest-scoring first quarter of the season.

Orlando is shooting 70 percent from the field while holding Miami to 38 percent shooting.

Tyler Herro leads Miami with eight points.

Celtics Defeat Wizards, 111-100

Washington was never able to recover after a 35-14 second quarter in favor of Boston.

Tristan Vukčević led Washington with 22 points and three rebounds.

Celtics Lead Wizards After 3Q, 93-72

Boston took command of this game with a 35-14 second quarter.

The Celtics have out-rebounded the Wizards, 48-30.

Lakers vs. Nuggets on ABC at 8:30 ET

This is the highlight game of the day.

These teams are mixed up with the Houston Rockets and Minnesota Timberwolves in the Western Conference standings, with all four teams within one game of one another.

It’s also a matchup between Nikola Jokić and Luka Dončić, who are always in the running for MVP.

Hawks Defeat Bucks, 122-99

Atlanta won all four individual quarters in this blowout victory.

That gives the Hawks nine straight victories.

The Hawks shot 50 percent from the field and 37 percent from three-point range.

CJ McCollum led ATL with 30 points, three rebounds and two assists.

Jalen Johnson recorded another triple-double, finishing with 23 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists.

Sixers Defeat Nets, 104-97

Philly got out to a 53-31 lead at the half and never looked back after that.

The Sixers played this game without Joel Embiid, Paul George, Tyrese Maxey and Kelly Oubre.

Quentin Grimes led the way with 28 points, eight rebounds and four assists.

Justin Edwards amassed 19 points, four rebounds, two assists, three steals and two blocks.

Danny Wolf was the only Brooklyn starter in double figures, finishing with 15 points and 10 rebounds.
