LAS VEGAS – The Phoenix Suns defeated the Milwaukee Bucks, 95-88, in the 2026 NBA Summer League at Cox Pavilion on Monday.
There were nine ties and 18 lead changes in this game, with neither team grabbing a double-digit lead.
Milwaukee led 87-84 with 2:30 remaining, but Phoenix closed the game on an 11-1 run to prevail. The Suns outrebounded the Bucks, 52-39, while out-assisting them 22-15. Phoenix also shot 43.7% from the field and 44.1% from 3-point range while holding Milwaukee to 41.8% from the field and 37.1% from deep
The Suns (2-1) were led by Khaman Maluach, who posted 21 points, 10 rebounds, two assists and four blocks. First-round pick Koa Peat provided 19 points and six rebounds.
Darius Brown had 14 points, two rebounds and five assists, while Koby Brea compiled 19 points and two assists.
The Bucks (0-3) were led by one of their first-round picks, with Brayden Burries tallying 23 points, eight rebounds, six assists and four steals. Bogoljub Markovic amassed 16 points and eight rebounds. Brandon Boston led the bench with 17 points and two assists.
Both teams return to action on Wednesday, with Milwaukee matching up with the Charlotte Hornets (7:30 ET, Prime Video) and Phoenix facing the Detroit Pistons (6 ET, ESPNU).
