If you’re looking for the modern-day extravaganza of NBA Summer League, that’s available in Las Vegas.
If you’re looking for a minimalist – but no less important – version of Summer League, that’s doable, too, in Salt Lake City, Sacramento and San Francisco.
The NBA’s summer leagues offer the best of both worlds.
As trades and free agency unfold and reshape the NBA landscape, teams are also preparing for summer leagues where rookies, young players, stars in the making and those looking to extend their pro basketball careers compete in a unique environment.
The California Classic Summer League begins Friday, July 3; the Salt Lake City Summer League starts Saturday, July 4; and the Las Vegas Summer League opens July 9.
