Stephen Curry has cemented his place not only as one of the best shooters to ever step foot on an NBA hardwood. He also argues for being one of the best scorers not only of this generation, but in the history of the NBA, and he showed that in the 2020-21 campaign.
Curry led the NBA in scoring in the 2020-21 season after averaging 32.0 points per game. Perhaps not as dominant as his April stretch, but February was another month where Curry showed he was one of the most dominant scoring forces in the NBA when everything was clicking for him. Curry, who made 63 regular-season starts in 2020-21, finished the season in third place in the MVP voting while also making the All-Star Game and the All-NBA 1st-Team.
Despite leading the NBA in scoring, Curry couldn’t lead the Warriors to the playoffs since Golden State didn’t qualify for the postseason. Despite finishing with a 39-33 record in the 72-game shortened regular season, Golden State couldn’t reach the 2021 NBA playoffs.
