2024-25 SEASON:

Full name is Keshad Ray Johnson…first name is pronounced KEY-shawd…was given the nickname “Showtime” by some of his high school friends because of his athletic prowess and his ability to entertain people both on and off the court…is the son of Rochelle Owens and Kenny Johnson Sr…has four brothers (Gregory Coleman, Dominic Johnson, Major Sessions and Kenny Johnson Jr.) and one sister (Kasandra Johnson)…majored in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus in communication, sociology and recreational management…he choose his major because he didn’t want to limit himself to just one thing and he enjoys talking to people and has a desire to be a youth advocate…became the first person in his family to graduate from college…his interests include clothes, going fishing and playing video games…would like to become an actor…his favorite sports other than basketball are football and baseball and he’s a fan of the Las Vegas Raiders and San Diego Padres…said the person who really made a difference in his life is his brother Kenny who at the age of 14 was shot 10 times with one bullet hitting his spine in a case of mistaken identity while walking home and was told he would never be able to walk again and can now stand up and walk again with forearm crutches and even drive a car with the aid of hand controls…is involved with the local charity Our Youth Matters in his hometown of Oakland…has a desire to be involved with charities that help communities and assist the less fortunate…says something most people don’t know about him is he knows how to juggle and was part of the Prescott Clowns in elementary school…the Prescott Circus Theatre got its start—and its name—at Prescott Elementary School in West Oakland in 1985, when teacher Aileen Moffitt taught juggling to students after school and today, the organization has after-school programs at several elementary and middle schools in Oakland and employs teaching artists to help students build up their skills…his first three years of high school he attended Envision Academy of Arts & Technology before transferring to San Leandro High School for his senior year…in his lone season at San Leandro he averaged 14.4 points, eight rebounds, three assists, 2.3 blocks, and 1.9 steals per game and was named the West Alameda County Conference Foothill League co-MVP…was a college teammate for one season at Arizona with current teammate Pelle Larsson…wears size 15 sneakers.
