Christian was drafted by the Toronto Raptors with the 33rd pick in the second round of the 2022 NBA Draft and signed a Two-Way contract with the Lakers on September 16, 2024. With the Raptors, he appeared in 58 games (19 starts), and averaged 3.1 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.0 blocks in 13.8 minutes. 

Christian appeared in 91 games (56 starts) for the University of Arizona from 2019-22, averaging 7.3 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.8 blocks in 17.9 minutes across three seasons. He shot 59.0% from the field and scored in double figures in 26 games, including 6 games with 20+ points, 12 games with double-digit rebounds, and 10 double-doubles. He was named the Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year, All-Pac-12 First Team, Pac-12 All Defense, Pac-12 Most Improved Player, and led the Pac-12 in blocks per game.

Christian speaks English and French. He was born in Douala, Cameroon, and participated in 2017 Basketball Without Borders Africa and 2018 Basketball Without Borders Global Camp. He attended Birmingham High School in Lake Balboa, California his junior season of high school before transferring to Sierra Canyon in Chatsworth, California.
