PROFESSIONAL CAREER

Selected sixth overall in the 2022 NBA Draft, Mathurin has been one of the top bench scorers in the NBA over two seasons with the Pacers and has averaged 15.8 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.7 assists over 137 appearances (36 starts)…Has recorded three double-doubles, all during the 2023-24 season…2022-23: Mathurin averaged 16.7 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.5 assists over 28.5 minutes per game in 78 appearances (17 starts) while becoming the first Pacers player since Rik Smits in 1989 to earn NBA All-Rookie First Team honors…Mathurin was the NBA’s leading bench scorer in the regular season, and his 1,028 points off the bench were the third-highest single-season total in Pacers franchise history...He ranked second among all NBA rookies in scoring; 12th in rebounding average; 12th in assists; second in 3-pointers made; and first in free throws, made attempted and free throw percentage...Mathurin scored 26 points against the Spurs Oct. 21 and 27 points against Detroit Oct. 22 to become the first Pacers rookie to post 20 or more points off the bench in consecutive games since Reggie Miller who did so four straight times in 1987-88...He later passed that mark as he scored 20+ points in five straight outings from Jan. 21-29...He finished with a season-high 32 points in the road win at Brooklyn Oct. 29, marking the most points scored off the bench by a Pacers rookie in team history.
