Gold Medal winner at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games as part of Team USA… Edwards appeared in six games, averaging 12.8 points on 58.0% shooting, including 48.0% from deep, 2.8 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.3 steals in 16:17 minutes per game… Was named for the first time to USA Basketball’s Senior Men’s National Team ahead of the 2023 World Cup…During the 2023 FIBA World Cup, Edwards played and started in all eight games for the Americans, averaging 18.9 points on 47.5% shooting, 4.6 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 26.0 minutes per game…On Sept. 3 vs. Lithuania, Edwards tallied 35 points on 14-of-26 shooting, including connecting on five threes…His 35 points tie for the second-best American individual scoring performance in a World Cup game (38, Kevin Durant vs. Lithuania in 2010; 35, Carmelo Anthony vs. Italy in 2006).
