Full name is Edrice Femi Adebayo…goes by the nickname “Bam” which was given to him at the age of one after flipping over a table while watching The Flintstones in a manner that resembled one of the characters, Bamm-Bamm Rubble...is the son of Marilyn Blount and John Adebayo…his cousin, Bruce Peartree, played basketball at East Carolina University and his cousin, Avery Oden, played at Shaw University…credits his mother as the person who made a difference in his life and despite their struggles she made him the man he is today…keeps a framed picture of the single-wide trailer he grew up in North Carolina as a reminder of where he came from and to stay humble, near the bottom of the photo engraved on a metal plate are the words: Never forget where you came from, and never lose sight of where you are going…has his own foundation, the Edrice Adebayo Foundation, Inc.
