Devin Booker’s used a silky pull-up jumper to become the all-time scoring leader for the Phoenix Suns.

1. Devin Booker – 16,452 Points

Drafted with the 13th pick in the 2015 NBA Draft, Booker has developed into the most prolific scorer in Phoenix Suns history, mastering his smooth scoring game while improving his handle and adding playmaking skill. He helped take the Suns to the NBA Finals in 2021, marking the franchise’s third appearance in the climactic series (1976, 1993).

Booker’s also the Suns’ all-time record holder in three-pointers made (1,454) and in threes attempted per game (6.0 3PG) as of the end of the 2024-25 NBA season. He set the Suns’ all-time single-game scoring by going for 70 points at Boston on March 24, 2017.

2. Walter Davis 15,666 Points

“The Grayhound” was a talented and graceful scorer for the Suns, racing up and down the court for 10 seasons in Phoenix. He was drafted fifth overall by Phoenix in 1978 out of North Carolina, where he inspired a young Michael Jordan, among others.

Davis captured the title of Suns all-time scoring leader on April 5, 1986, holding it until Booker broke it on Feb. 2, 2025.

3. Alvan Adams 13,910 Points

A smooth 6’9″ pivot player, Adams broke into the NBA like a house on fire in 1976, winning Rookie of the Year and making his only All-Star team while leading the Suns to the NBA Finals. He averaged 19.1 PTS, 9.1 REB and 5.6 AST that season, adding 1.5 STL and 1.5 BPG.

Adams went on to play his entire 12 year career in Phoenix, playing 988 games for the franchise while averaging 14.1 PPG. He’s also the franchise leader in games played, minutes played, steals and rebounds.

4. Kevin Johnson 12,747 Points

KJ was lightning quick. After coming over to the franchise from Cleveland in a multi-player deal that included Larry Nance, Johnson burst onto the scene in his second season, scoring 20.1 PPG and winning Most Improved Player in 1989 while making All-NBA Second Team.

Johnson averaged 20+ PPG in five seasons for Phoenix, eventually handing the reigns at point guard to Jason Kidd and Steve Nash.

5. Shawn Marion – 12,134 Points

A multitalented, hyper-kinetic athlete, “The Matrix” was an all-around star in Phoenix. Marion made four All-Star teams during his seven seasons in Phoenix, averaging 19+ PPG in five of them.

Marion also played way above the rim. He became a valuable role player after leaving Phoenix, helping the Dallas Mavericks beat the Miami Heat for the 2011 NBA Championship.
