Phoenix Suns center Mark Williams has reportedly undergone surgery Thursday to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder that he suffered during an offseason workout, per multiple reports. The Suns confirmed the surgery in a press release on Friday, adding that the fifth-year center is without a set timetable to return.

Williams inked a new three-year, $38 million contract with the Suns in July as a restricted free agent. This past season, Williams averaged 11.7 points and 8.0 rebounds in 23.6 minutes per game.
The 7-foot-1 big man has faced numerous injuries throughout his career but played a career-high 60 games last season, including 55 starts.
