The Phoenix Suns will keep their backcourt depth intact heading into the 2026-27 season, as they have reportedly agreed on new contracts with guards Collin Gillespie and Jordan Goodwin, per multiple reports.
Gillespie and Goodwin were unrestricted free agents.
The pair was developed internally with the Suns, evolving from end-of-the-bench players to key role players for a Phoenix squad that went 45-37 and earned the No. 8 seed in the West last season. Gillespie has agreed to a four-year deal, while Goodwin agreed to a three-year pact.

The 6-foot-1 Gillespie — who turned 27 in June — averaged 12.7 points, 4.1 rebounds and 4.6 assists over 80 games last season, his third in the NBA. He was undrafted out of Villanova but has emerged as one of the Suns’ top offensive options after shooting 40.1% from 3-point range.
The 6-foot-3 Goodwin was a key piece off the bench, averaging 8.7 points and 4.9 rebounds while also being one of the team’s better defenders. He played for the Wizards, Grizzlies, Suns and Lakers since 2021 and returned to Phoenix after the Lakers waived him last July.
