12:37 AM / NOV. 7

Reaves Keeps Lakers Momentum

Trail Blazers 91, Lakers 103. 5:25, 4Q.

Austin Reaves nails his first 3-pointer of the night, and it came in good time as the Lakers push the lead back to 12.

Reaves has 17 points on the night. Although he struggled early in the game, he found his rhythm by attacking the paint and getting easy looks. Reaves and Dončić are leading the NBA as a scoring duo in this early part of the year.

12:29 AM / NOV. 7

Line It Up, Dame

Trail Blazers 89, Lakers 95. 7:18, 4Q.

No lead is safe in today’s NBA. This game has already seen a 32-point swing.

The Blazers are on a 10-0 run to cut the lead to six after Damian Lillard drills his fourth 3-pointer of the night.

12:19 AM / NOV. 7

Area 51 In Full Effect

Spurs 102, Kings 88. 9:52, 4Q.

Traditionally, it’s a point guard who tosses the lob to the big man.

All traditions go out the window when you have a 7’3” center who has the skills of a guard. Victor Wembanyama finds Stephon Castle, who completes the alley-oop.

It also helps when you have a point guard who has insane hops like Castle.

My goodness.

12:15 AM / NOV. 7

A 20-Point Swing

Trail Blazers 75, Lakers 87. End 3Q.

The Lakers take full control of the third quarter thanks to Dončić going into takeover mode.

He’s outscored the Blazers by himself, going for a scorching 20 points and shooting 6-for-12 from the field. The Lakers outscored the Blazers 34-15 in the quarter and forced the Blazers into committing 20 turnovers in the game.

11:56 PM / NOV. 6

Luka Dončić Takes Over

Trail Blazers 68, Lakers 73. 3:58, 3Q.

It’s a 12-0 Lakers run as they tie the game at 68 apiece.

Dončić has 31 points on the night. He uses the snake dribble from the Walker Kessler screen to find space and nail his third 3-pointer. Then, he gets the floater to go as the Lakers take the lead.

11:38 PM / NOV. 6

Luka Has The Celebs Shook

Trail Blazers 60, Lakers 53. End 1H.

Even Bruce Springsteen was shocked by this shot from Dončić.

Check out the in-arena angle here.

11:23 PM / NOV. 6

LUKA WITH SOME MAGIC!

Trail Blazers 60, Lakers 53. End 1H.

The Lakers end the first half with an 18-9 run thanks to a HUGE 3-pointer from Luka.

After the defensive stop, the Magician gets around the screen and launches a 61-foot banker.

Did anyone get déjà vu from his half-court heave from opening night?

My goodness, Luka.

11:14 PM / NOV. 6

Lakers Making A Late Run

Trail Blazers 53, Lakers 45. 2:55, 2Q.

Luka Dončić does what he does best: create something out of nothing.

Despite being guarded under duress, Dončić goes to his signature step-back 3-pointer to cut the Blazers’ lead to 10. It’s just the Lakers’ second 3-pointer of the night, but it comes in huge.

11:01 PM / NOV. 6

The Timelord Stays True To His Nickname

Trail Blazers 51, Lakers 36. 5:34, 2Q

A pick-and-roll with Avdija finishes with a loud poster dunk from Robert Williams III.

Deni’s floater game made Walker Kessler step up to respect the shot, which gives room for Williams to slow down time and throw it down with authority.

A few possessions later, Williams throws it down again thanks to a nice dime from Jrue Holiday. Williams is making an impact early.

10:56 PM / NOV. 6

It’s Dame Time

Trail Blazers 43, Lakers 30. 7:43, 2Q.

30-foot shots are like breathing for Damian Lillard.

“Dame knows no range,” says Kevin Harlan on the call.

He extends the Blazers’ lead to 43-30 and has 8 points already. The Blazers have already nailed 8 3-pointers in the game, shooting a blistering 50% right now.

10:50 PM / NOV. 6

Blazers Strike First

Trail Blazers 29, Lakers 20. End 1Q.

Deni Avdija is getting things started with six first-quarter points. Every player who has played for the Blazers has scored.

10:47 PM / NOV. 6

Stephon Castle, Are You Kidding Me?!

Spurs 30, Kings 26. 2:28, 1Q.

Catches the pass on the roll, then jumps and spins in mid-air to find the shooter, Devin Vassell, for the bucket.

Wow, take a bow, Castle.

10:40 PM / NOV. 6

LaMelo Stays Patient & Nails The 3

10:30 PM / NOV. 6

Toumani Takes Off

Trail Blazers 26, Lakers 15. 1:21, 1Q.

Toumani Camara starts the nightcap with a statement. He blows by his defender and throws down a massive dunk.

Wow.

The Blazers have caught fire from beyond the arc with 6 3-pointers as they have an 11-point lead.

10:15 PM / NOV. 6

A Pair Of Raptors Have Career Nights

Raptors 97, Bucks 95. 7:39, 4Q.

Two Raptors are doing it all as Alijah Martin drops a career-high 24 points (9-for-11 FG) and Jamal Shead dishes out a career-high 15 assists and counting.

Martin already has a championship on his resumé with the Florida Gators in 2025; can he get another one with the Raptors in the Emirates NBA Cup?

10:10 PM / NOV. 6

All Fun In The Land

Cavaliers 119, Sixers 95.

A half-court challenge? No problem.

Just call up these two fans. They won big money thanks to their half-court heave (back-to-back, mind you).

The good vibes continued as the Cavaliers cruised to a wire-to-wire victory over the Sixers. Seven Cavs finished in double figures, led by a combined 45 points from Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley.

Mitchell also had eight assists and Mario Hezonja had a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds.

The Cavaliers snap the Sixers’ 5-game win streak with tonight’s win. In Cup play, the Cavaliers move to 1-0.

10:00 PM / NOV. 6

The Mavs Duo Are Showing Off Their Skills

Mavericks 98, Jazz 84. 8:34, 4Q.

Flagg had the highest-scoring quarter of his season with 15 PTS (4-7 FG) in the 3Q and 19 points in the game.

9:50 PM / NOV. 6

Cavs Are Letting ‘Em Know

Cavs 104, Sixers 82. 5:46, 4Q

The Cavs are rolling and have extended their biggest lead of the game to 23 points. Mobley and Mitchell have combined for 44 points to lead the Cavaliers.

During one of the timeouts, two Cavaliers fans made a half-court shot. Clearly, that hot shooting carried over to the team as they’re now shooting 45.6% from the field.

9:34 PM / NOV. 6

It’s A Circus In Dallas

Mavericks 87, Jazz 73. 1:00, 3Q.

The Mavericks are on a 10-0 run over the last 2:58.

This wild shot by P.J. Washington Jr. didn’t count, but maybe it brought some good luck in the game. He’s having a game with 23 points.

Rookie Morez Johnson Jr. has recorded his first career double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds.

9:34 PM / NOV. 6

Mitchell With A Major Highlight

Cavaliers 91, Sixers 74. End 3Q.

The Cavaliers push back their lead to 17, thanks to Mitchell’s heroics. He shows off his patented step-back 3-pointer under pressure.

He has 20 points, 8 assists and 6 rebounds as the final frame gets underway.

9:33 PM / NOV. 6

A Masterpiece from JT

Don’t look now, but the Sixers are climbing back.  They cut the 16-point lead to three thanks to Edgecombe’s dunk. He now has 19 points in the game.

Joel Embiid and LeBron James are a combined 1-for-14 from the field, but the Sixers are coming back. They’ve done it on the defensive end, as they’ve held the Cavaliers to just under 41% field goal shooting.

8:53 PM / NOV. 6

Murphy has 8 points and Williamson has four assists as West Group B action heats up.

8:53 PM / NOV. 6

Cooper Does It All

Jazz 45, Mavs 44. 4:57, 2Q

Gets the steal and save. Tosses the dime to Kyrie Irving in one motion and flies in for the putback.

Cooper does it all in this sequence as he’s up to six assists already.

Earlier this week, NBA.com’s Shaun Powell dives into what makes Flagg so unique.

Flagg’s unique talents lets him to develop his playmaking ability, much like Irving. That’s why the duo works so well together. In his rookie season, then-head coach Jason Kidd experimented with Flagg at the point guard to work on his decision making.

That came in clutch on this sequence.

8:51 PM / NOV. 6

LaMelo Dances With His Handles

Timberwolves 44, Pelicans 43. 5:17, 2Q

LaMelo shows off his crafty handles with the hesitation.

It always seems like he has the ball on a string. Back in his Chino Hills days, LaMelo would rack up millions of views with his ankle breakers. That part of his game is serving him well in the league.

8:48 PM / NOV. 6
