LAS VEGAS — The Indiana Pacers defeated the New Orleans Pelicans 113-104 in the NBA 2K26 Summer League at Cox Pavilion on Friday.

This game was not as close as it appears, with Indiana leading by at least nine points for the entirety of the second half. In fact, they led by 21 points at the end of the third quarter, getting their lead up to 26 points at times. The Pacers recorded 29 assists to 11 turnovers while the Pelicans had 22 assists to 16 turnovers. Indiana also doubled up New Orleans in blocks, 8-4.

The Pacers (3-2) were led by Robert Baker, who had 26 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks off the bench. Phillip Wheeler led the starters with 19 points, six rebounds, two assists and two blocks. RayJ Dennis had 15 points and 11 assists, while Enrique Freeman had 14 points and 10 rebounds.

The Pelicans (0-5) were led by Jeremiah Fears, who finished with 22 points, seven rebounds, four assists and three steals. Keion Brooks Jr collected 16 points, four rebounds and three assists. Antonio Reeves registered 18 points and four rebounds, while William Baker led the bench with 10 points.
