The Chicago Bulls defeated the Utah Jazz 105-92 in the NBA 2K26 Summer League at Thomas & Mack Center on Friday.
Chicago got out to a 24-12 lead after the opening quarter and then took command of this game with a 27-16 second quarter. That 51-28 lead allowed the Bulls to maintain a double-digit lead for the entirety of the second half, getting their lead up to 28 points at times. Chicago shot 48 percent from the field and 38 percent from 3-point range while holding Utah to 37 percent from the field and 28 percent from long range. The Bulls also out-assisted the Jazz, 28-18, while out-rebounding them, 51-38.
The Jazz (1-4) were led by Cody Williams, collecting 26 points, five rebounds, three assists and two steals. Elijah Harkless had 15 points, eight rebounds and two assists. Max Abmas amassed 13 points, two rebounds, eight assists and two steals. Cameron McGriff led the bench with 12 points and six boards.
The Bulls (3-2) were led by Javon Freeman-Liberty, finishing with 22 points, nine rebounds, six assists, two steals and two blocks. Wooga Poplar provided 12 points, two rebounds and two assists. Maozinha Pereira posted 10 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, two steals and two blocks. Yuki Kawamura was electric off the bench, finishing with 20 points, four rebounds, 10 assists and two steals.
