The Boston Celtics took a commanding 101-80 victory over the Atlanta Hawks in an NBA 2K26 Summer League consolation game at Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas on Sunday afternoon.
Both squads played with makeshift rosters in their final Summer League contest, and the Celtics definitely looked like the more invested team throughout all four quarters. Boston already owned a 27-20 lead after one, which was also the only quarter where Atlanta was ahead, albeit by a mere two points.
The Celtics had upped their advantage to nine points by intermission, and they proceeded to forge a 23-11 edge during the third quarter that essentially put the game away. The Celtics’ bench outscored the Hawks’ second unit by a massive 33-point margin, and Boston was ahead by as much as 24 points during the comfortable win.
Kobe Johnson led the Hawks with 14 points, complementing them with six rebounds, two assists and three steals. Adam Flagler furnished 13 points, three boards and three assists. Nelly Joseph supplied 11 points, nine rebounds, two assists and two steals.
Isaiah Wong paced the Celtics with 18 points off the bench on 54.5% shooting, adding six assists, one rebound and one steal. Jalen Bridges totaled 16 points, three boards and one steal. Benjamin Gregg registered 13 points, eight rebounds, two assists and one steal, while Kendall Brown contributed 10 points, three rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block.
