LAS VEGAS — Jahmir Young’s elite offensive performance fueled the Chicago Bulls to a 57-point second half and a comeback 102-96 win over the Milwaukee Bucks in an NBA2K26 Summer League battle at Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas on Wednesday afternoon.
The two Central Division rivals played a game that was truly a tale of two halves. Milwaukee had control for most of the first two quarters, building a 55-45 lead by intermission. However, the Bulls cut four points from their deficit during the third, and they then opened the final period on a 15-2 run over the first 3:53 to take a lead they wouldn’t relinquish. Chicago was able to mount a successful comeback despite seeing its bench outscored by a massive 42-13 margin.
Chris Livingston led the Bucks with 23 points, while also adding five rebounds. Stanley Umude registered a second-unit-high 16 points, supplementing them with two rebounds and two assists. Cormac Ryan supplied 15 points and five boards. Pete Nance and Tyler Smith contributed 14 and 11 points, respectively.
Young paced the Bulls with 40 points on 13-for-18 shooting, including 7-for-8 from 3-point range. Javon Freeman-Liberty totaled 23 points, eight boards and four assists. Maozinha Pereira furnished 15 points, eight rebounds and two blocks.
