-Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Chet Holmgren score over 30 apiece to get OKC to 3-0 in a win over Atlanta. Those two studs combined for 61 points and 16 rebounds on 20-of-29 shooting in a road win against the Hawks.
-Sixers get to 2-0 with a win against the Hornets. Quentin Grimes hit a game-winning three in the closing seconds to finish with 24 points off of Philly’s bench.ย  Tyrese Maxey scored 28 points while Joel Embiid had 20.

The Sixers pulled off an impressive road win in their debut, beating the Boston Celtics, 117-116.

Chicago is missing Coby White, so Tre Jones will draw another start for the Bulls.

They beat the Detroit Pistons in their opener on Wednesday, 115-111.

– Denver and Phoenix renew their rivalry
These teams have played three overtime games over their last 11 matchups. Nikola Jokiฤ‡ had one of the best performances in NBA history in their last game, becoming the first player ever with a 30-20-20 game. He finished that overtime win with 31 points, 21 rebounds and 22 assists.
– OKC looks to avoid overtime in Atlanta
The defending champs have played two double-overtime games so far this season, but have prevailed in both. They’ll have a tough task here, facing a new-look Atlanta team that appears to be a true contender in the Eastern Conference.
– Hornets look to snap losing streak against the Sixers.ย 
Philly has won 10 straight games over Charlotte, but this Hornets team has some sting. They grabbed a blowout win against the Brooklyn Nets in their opener and look poised for one of their best seasons over the last decade with this exciting young core. The Sixers have a fantastic young core of their own, with V.J. Edgecombe dropping 34 points in his rookie debut in a win over the Boston Celtics on Wednesday.
