Kings trade back into first round, grab No. 29 pick

The Kings reportedly trade up to pick No. 29 from the Cavs to take two-time NCAA champion Alex Karaban.

A two-time NCAA champion at UConn, Alex Karaban is headed to the Sacramento Kings.

A few hours after selecting Darius Acuff Jr. at No. 7 overall in the First Round at Tuesday’s NBA Draft, the Sacramento Kings opted to trade back up and add another player, acquiring the No. 29 pick via the Cleveland Cavaliers for No. 34 overall and a second-round pick in 2032.
