Cameron Carr is drafted by the Knicks, but is reportedly on the move to L.A.
Coming off their first NBA championship in 53 years, the Knicks opted out of the No. 24 selection in the 2026 NBA Draft and eventually the first round altogether.
They picked up several second-round picks and cash considerations in the process.
Lakers receive:
- No. 24 overall (Cameron Carr) via New York
Mavericks receive:
- No. 25 overall (Sergio De Larrea) via Los Angeles Lakers
Suns receive:
- No. 30 overall (Koa Peat) via Dallas
Knicks receive:
- No. 47 overall (via Phoenix)
- Draft rights to Melvin Ajinça (No. 51 pick in 2024)
- Two future second-round picks (via Phoenix)
- Two future second-round picks (via Dallas)
- Cash considerations (via Los Angeles Lakers)
