2026 NBA Draft

Grizzlies swap picks with Thunder at No. 17, Pistons at 21

The Grizzlies tip off the Tuesday trade action during the 2026 NBA Draft with a pair of deals involving the Thunder & Pistons.

Iowa guard Bennett Stirtz, selected No. 16 overall by the Grizzlies, is reportedly on the move to Oklahoma City.

After a series of selections through the Lottery picks went mostly according to chalk, the first – and second – trades of the 2026 NBA Draft came in short order as the Memphis Grizzlies initiated a flurry.

Scheduled to choose at No. 16, the Grizzlies first swapped down a spot with the Thunder, and then another four with Detroit, picking up five second-round picks in the process.
