Iowa guard Bennett Stirtz, selected No. 16 overall by the Grizzlies, is reportedly on the move to Oklahoma City.
After a series of selections through the Lottery picks went mostly according to chalk, the first – and second – trades of the 2026 NBA Draft came in short order as the Memphis Grizzlies initiated a flurry.
Scheduled to choose at No. 16, the Grizzlies first swapped down a spot with the Thunder, and then another four with Detroit, picking up five second-round picks in the process.
Grizzlies receive:
- No. 21 overall (Karim López)
- 2 future second-round picks (via OKC)
- 3 future second-round picks (via DET)
Thunder receive:
- No. 16 overall (Bennett Stirtz)
Pistons receive:
- No. 17 overall (Ebuka Okorie)
