
Cade Cunningham is averaging a career-best 27.5 ppg in 2025-26.
Detroit Pistons guard Cade Cunningham is staying with Nike and will soon have his own signature shoe with the sneaker company, too.
Per ESPN’s Shams Charania, Cunningham has agreed to a new six-year endorsement deal with Nike and will have a signature shoe that is expected to debut in the second half of the 2026-27 season.
In an interview on Kevin Durant’s “Boardroom” podcast, Cunningham confirmed his re-signing with Nike and his signature shoe deal. Cunningham said he talked with Durant about being with Nike, having a signature shoe line and more.
“I haven’t even grasped it yet,” Cunningham said on the podcast. “I can’t wait.”
He is the sixth active player to have a signature shoe deal with Nike, joining LeBron James, Ja Morant, Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and Giannis Antetokounmpo. Cunningham enjoyed a breakout campaign in 2024-25, posting 26.1 points, 6.1 rebounds and 9.1 assists per game while shooting 46.9% overall and 35.6% on 3-pointers.
He was an All-Star in 2024-25 and made the All-NBA Third Team and has picked up where he left off in 2025-26. This season, he’s averaging 27.5 ppg, 5.4 rpg and 9.9 apg (43.6% overall; 28.8% on 3-pointers) while leading Detroit to an East-best 11-2 start.
