Heat 101,
Pistons 87: Box Score | Game Detail
LAS VEGAS – A well-balanced offensive performance and late scoring surge propelled the Heat to a 101-87 win over the Pistons in Summer League play on Friday.
The Pistons appeared to be firmly in control heading into the second half, as Detroit held an 11-point advantage by halftime. However, the Heat would shave five points from that deficit in the third quarter before lighting up the scoreboard in the final 10 minutes, outscoring Detroit 35-15 to close out the comeback victory.
The Heat had five players in double figures – three on a second unit that racked up 42 points – and were led by Tre White’s 21 points, which he complemented with four rebounds and three assists.
Tre Donaldson closed out a stellar summer with a 20-point, 10-assist double-double with eight rebounds. Ezra Ausar paced the bench with 15 points and seven rebounds. Meechie Johnson and Kendall Brown posted 13 and 11 points, respectively.
Ebuka Okorie led all scorers with 27 points for Detroit, adding four rebounds and three assists.
Brice Williams finished with 15 points and five boards, while Chaz Lanier contributed 11 points, four assists, three rebounds and two steals.
Both teams have completed 2026 NBA Summer League play.
