LAS VEGAS – The Dallas Mavericks overcame a slow start and defeated the New York Knicks, 110-88, on Friday in the 2026 NBA Las Vegas Summer League.
The Knicks raced to a 23-16 lead following the first quarter, aided by Pacôme Dadiet’s eight points.
But the Mavericks would respond in the second quarter with a 10-4 run inside the final four minutes. Dallas turned a 35-29 deficit into a 41-41 tie after the first half.
The Mavericks carried that momentum into the third quarter and grabbed the lead after outscoring New York by a 35-19 margin, and the Knicks couldn’t overcome the 16-point differential in the final quarter.
The Mavericks’ bench outscored New York 62-40, and Dallas also outscored the Knicks in fast-break points (25-11).
Five Dallas players scored at least 15 points in the win. Darin Green Jr. and Tyler Smith each scored 21 points off the bench. Smith also grabbed four rebounds, while Green Jr. added four assists and two boards.
John Poulakidas led all starters with 18 points, and Jorge Diaz-Graham chipped in with a 15-point, 12-rebound double-double.
Vsevolod Ishchenko added 15 points while shooting 5-for-8 from the floor. The Mavs shot 48.5 percent from the floor and an impressive 46.2 percent from deep.
Dadiet provided a spark for the Knicks, finishing with a team-high 19 points. Only two other Knicks players scored in double digits: Liam Robbins (14) and Jaden Akins (11).
New York shot 36.8 percent from the floor and 19.5 percent from three-point range.
