Nate Williams was not selected in the 2022 NBA Draft spent 2022-23 playing in the G League before signing with Portland for the final five games… entering 2024-25, he appeared in 27 games with four starts… Williams spent 2023-24 as a two-way player for Houston and re-signed on 7/3/24… in a total of 11 G League Showcase/season games in 2023-24, he averaged 16.3 ppg, 5.6 rpg, 2.9 apg and 1.4 spg.

Williams was eligible for the 2022 NBA Draft following his senior season at Buffalo… over his final two seasons, he averaged 18.4 ppg, 5.8 rpg, 2.7 apg and 1.3 spg along with 1.7 3-pointers made on 42.5% shooting… Williams was named first-team All-MAC as a senior and earned second-team honors as a junior.

Williams’ full first name is Jeenathan, but he goes by Nate… he spent his senior season of high school at Prolific Prep where Jalen Green would later finish his high school career.
