
The Washington Wizards-Charlotte Hornets game on Saturday has been rescheduled for a noon tip-off due to pending weather.
A severe winter storm warning in the Northeast has caused the rescheduling of Saturday’s game between the Wizards and Hornets in Charlotte. The Wizards and Hornets will now tip off at noon ET on Saturday, Jan. 24 due to impending weather.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Charlotte and its surrounding areas for Saturday morning through Monday afternoon, and significant ice accumulation and sleet-covered roadways are forecasted.
The National Weather Service forecasted that sleet could accumulate up to two inches, and wind could gust as high as 30 mph. Charlotte-area residents are advised to consider delaying all travel and to drive with extreme caution.
