Week 19 Watchlist: The best game to watch for all 30 teams

The stretch run continues with an action-packed week across the league.

Karl-Anthony Towns and the Knicks host the Spurs in 1 of 3 key games this week for New York.

Week 19 features a total of 51 games as teams make their push for the postseason. Here is one key game to catch for all 30 teams this week as February comes to a close.

Eastern Conference

Atlanta Hawks

  • Schedule: Tuesday vs. Wizards, Thursday vs. Wizards, Sunday vs. Trail Blazers
  • Game To Watch: Sunday vs. Trail Blazers: This matchup features two teams that enter Week 19 ranked ninth in their respective conferences. Wins are critical at this point in the season as both teams try to climb into the top six and earn a guaranteed playoff berth.

Boston Celtics

  • Schedule: Tuesday at Suns, Wednesday at Nuggets (ESPN), Friday vs. Nets, Sunday vs. 76ers (NBC/Peacock)
  • Game To Watch: Wednesday at Nuggets (ESPN): Boston closed Week 18 with a road win over the Lakers. As their road trip continues, the Celtics will face another top-five team in the West when they visit Nikola Jokić and the Nuggets in a game that features two players – Jokić and Jaylen Brown – ranked in the top six in the latest Kia MVP Ladder.

Brooklyn Nets

  • Schedule: Tuesday vs. Mavericks, Thursday vs. Spurs, Friday at Celtics, Sunday vs. Cavaliers
  • Game To Watch: Friday at Celtics: When the Nets and Celtics last met on Jan. 23, the Nets dropped a double-overtime thriller in Brooklyn. Can they return the favor when they visit the Celtics?

Charlotte Hornets

  • Schedule: Tuesday at Bulls, Thursday at Pacers, Saturday vs. Trail Blazers
  • Game To Watch: Tuesday at Bulls: On Sunday, LaMelo Ball matched the Hornets’ franchise record with 10 3-pointers made in a win over Washington. And he did it in just three quarters. Will Ball still be on fire when the Hornets open Week 19 in Chicago?

Chicago Bulls

  • Schedule: Tuesday vs. Hornets, Thursday vs. Trail Blazers, Sunday vs. Bucks
  • Game To Watch: Tuesday vs. Hornets: The Bulls look to avoid the first double-digit losing streak since 2018-19 when they host the Hornets – a team they’re chasing for a spot in the SoFi Play-In Tournament field.

Cleveland Cavaliers

  • Schedule: Tuesday vs. Knicks (Peacock), Wednesday at Bucks, Friday at Pistons (ESPN), Sunday at Nets
  • Game To Watch: Tuesday vs. Knicks (Peacock): The Cavs enter their final regular-season matchup with the Knicks trailing New York by one game for third place in the East. A win on Tuesday would give them matching 37-22 records, but the Knicks would still hold third place via tiebreaker since New York already clinched the season series (2-0).

Detroit Pistons

  • Schedule: Monday vs. Spurs (Peacock), Wednesday vs. Thunder (ESPN), Friday vs. Cavaliers (ESPN), Sunday at Magic
  • Game To Watch: Wednesday vs. Thunder (ESPN): The Pistons (42-13, .764) just surpassed the Thunder (44-14, .759) to hold the best record in the NBA. On Wednesday, they meet for the first time this season, with Detroit looking for a statement win over the defending champs.

Indiana Pacers

  • Schedule: Tuesday vs. 76ers, Thursday vs. Hornets, Sunday vs. Grizzlies
  • Game To Watch: Thursday vs. Hornets: The last time the Pacers faced the Hornets on Jan. 8, Indy edged out Charlotte to snap a franchise-record-long 13-game skid and earn coach Rick Carlisle his 1,000th career win. Can the Pacers get another win over the Hornets to go up 3-0 in their season series?

Miami Heat

  • Schedule: Tuesday at Bucks, Thursday at 76ers, Saturday vs. Rockets (Prime Video)
  • Game To Watch: Thursday at 76ers: In the East, only a half-game separates No. 6 Philadelphia, No. 7 Orlando and No. 8 Miami in the race for the No. 6 spot. Given how close things are, tiebreakers could determine who’s in the playoffs and who’s in the SoFi Play-In Tournament. A Heat win on Thursday would clinch the head-to-head tiebreaker against the Sixers.

Milwaukee Bucks

  • Schedule: Tuesday vs. Heat, Wednesday vs. Cavaliers, Friday vs. Knicks, Sunday at Bulls
  • Game To Watch: Tuesday vs. Heat: Entering Week 19 as the first team out of the SoFi Play-In field in the East, the Bucks will host one of the four teams they are hoping to replace in the tournament – the Miami Heat. The Bucks seek their 10th win of the season without Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf). Milwaukee is 9-16 without Giannis and 15-15 with him this season.

New York Knicks

  • Schedule: Tuesday at Cavaliers (Peacock), Friday at Bucks, Sunday vs. Spurs (ABC)
  • Game To Watch: Tuesday at Cavaliers (Peacock): Last season, the Cavs swept the season series with the Knicks (4-0). On Tuesday in Cleveland, the Knicks can turn the tables and sweep this year’s season series (3-0) and tighten their grip on the No. 3 spot in the East standings.

Orlando Magic

  • Schedule: Tuesday at Lakers, Thursday vs. Rockets (Prime Video), Sunday vs. Pistons
  • Game To Watch: Sunday vs. Pistons: It’s a potential East playoff preview when the No. 1 Pistons visit the No. 7 Magic to close out Week 19. After splitting their first two meetings early in the season, who will win the rubber match on Sunday? A win for the Magic will also help their drive for a top-six finish and a spot in the playoff field.

Philadelphia 76ers

  • Schedule: Tuesday at Pacers, Thursday vs. Heat, Sunday at Celtics (NBC/Peacock)
  • Game To Watch: Thursday vs. Heat: Sitting in sixth in the East, the Sixers are simultaneously chasing the five teams ahead of them (including Boston on Sunday), while also trying to hold off many teams clawing at them for a guaranteed playoff berth. So, before the Sixers can try to narrow the gap with the Celtics, they must first contend with the Heat and keep them at bay.

Toronto Raptors

  • Schedule: Tuesday vs. Thunder, Wednesday vs. Spurs, Saturday at Wizards
  • Game To Watch: Tuesday vs. Thunder: The Raptors open Week 19 by hosting the top two teams in the West – the Thunder on Tuesday, followed by the Spurs on Wednesday. Toronto already owns a win over the Thunder in OKC this season. Can they earn the season sweep of the defending champs?

Washington Wizards

  • Schedule: Tuesday at Hawks, Thursday at Hawks, Saturday vs. Raptors
  • Game To Watch: Tuesday at Hawks: The Wizards and Hawks close out their season series with a pair of games in Atlanta this week. The teams have split their first two meetings, with each winning by 20-plus points. Will round 3 be another romp or will it be a close matchup?

Western Conference

Chet Holmgren and the Thunder visit the Pistons in Week 19 in a crucial West vs. East matchup.

Dallas Mavericks

  • Schedule: Tuesday at Nets, Thursday vs. Kings, Friday vs. Grizzlies, Sunday vs. Thunder

Denver Nuggets

  • Schedule: Wednesday vs. Celtics (ESPN), Friday at Thunder (ESPN), Sunday vs. Timberwolves (ABC)
  • Game To Watch: Friday at Thunder (ESPN): After OKC eliminated Denver in a seven-game classic in the 2025 Western Conference semifinals, the Thunder also defeated the Nuggets in their first meeting this season on Feb. 1. Can the Nuggets even the season series with the defending champs – a team they will face two more times before the close of the season?

Golden State Warriors

  • Schedule: Tuesday at Pelicans, Friday at Grizzlies, Saturday vs. Lakers (ABC)
  • Game To Watch: Saturday vs. Lakers (ABC): While we won’t get another LeBron James vs. Steph Curry matchup with Curry out (knee), this is still a key matchup in the West between the fifth-ranked Lakers and eighth-ranked Warriors. With Golden State looking to climb out of the SoFi Play-In field, getting wins against the teams above them in the standings is imperative at this point in the season.

Houston Rockets

  • Schedule: Monday vs. Jazz (Peacock), Wednesday vs. Kings, Thursday at Magic (Prime Video), Saturday at Heat (Prime Video)
  • Game To Watch: Thursday at Magic (Prime Video): In their first meeting this season on Nov. 16, the Rockets prevailed in an overtime thriller behind 30-plus-point performances from Kevin Durant and Alperen Sengun. Can the Rockets sweep the regular season series for the second straight year? Orlando will have Paolo Banchero, who missed the first matchup due to injury.

LA Clippers

  • Schedule: Thursday vs. Timberwolves (Prime Video), Sunday vs. Pelicans
  • Game To Watch: Thursday vs. Timberwolves (Prime Video): The Clippers look to avoid their first three-game skid since their in-season turnaround began on Dec. 20. The Clippers are a West-leading 21-9 in 30 games during that span, which includes a win in Minnesota on Feb. 8 behind a 41-point performance from Kawhi Leonard.

Los Angeles Lakers

  • Schedule: Tuesday vs. Magic, Thursday at Suns, Saturday at Warriors (ABC), Sunday vs. Kings
  • Game To Watch: Thursday at Suns: The Lakers enter the fourth of five regular-season games against the Suns looking to even the season series at 2-2, while a loss would clinch the season series (and head-to-head tiebreaker) for Phoenix. The Suns enter Week 19 at No. 7 in the West (just outside of the playoff field) but trail the fifth-ranked Lakers by only two games.

Memphis Grizzlies

  • Schedule: Monday vs. Kings, Wednesday vs. Warriors, Friday at Mavericks, Sunday at Pacers
  • Game To Watch: Monday vs. Kings: The Grizzlies open Week 19 looking to sweep the season series with the Kings, 4-0. In their last meeting on Feb. 4, the game featured 13 lead changes, 13 ties and no double-digit leads. Is another back-and-forth affair on tap this time around?

Minnesota Timberwolves

  • Schedule: Tuesday at Trail Blazers (Peacock), Thursday at Clippers (Prime Video), Sunday at Nuggets (ABC)
  • Game To Watch: Sunday at Nuggets (ABC): Including their final two wins in the 2024 West semifinals, the Timberwolves won six straight games over the Nuggets. However, Denver turned the tables this season, winning the first three head-to-head meetings. Can the sixth-ranked Wolves not only avoid the sweep, but also gain some ground on the third-ranked Nuggets, who enter the week only one game up on the Wolves?

New Orleans Pelicans

  • Schedule: Tuesday vs. Warriors, Thursday at Jazz, Saturday at Jazz, Sunday at Clippers

On Wednesday, the two conference leaders meet for the first time this season with first place in the league potentially on the line.

Phoenix Suns

  • Schedule: Tuesday vs. Celtics, Thursday vs. Lakers
  • Game To Watch: Thursday vs. Lakers: The seventh-ranked Suns are on the outside looking in for the current playoff picture. As they look to break out of the SoFi Play-In field and into the top six for a guaranteed playoff berth, the Suns need to knock off the teams ahead of them in the standings. In Phoenix’s case this week, that means the Lakers.

Portland Trail Blazers

  • Schedule: Tuesday vs. Timberwolves (Peacock), Thursday at Bulls, Saturday at Hornets, Sunday at Hawks
  • Game To Watch: Tuesday vs. Timberwolves (Peacock): The Blazers host the Wolves – looking for their first win over Minnesota since Nov. 2024 – before heading East for a five-game road trip.

Sacramento Kings

  • Schedule: Monday at Grizzlies, Wednesday at Rockets, Thursday at Mavericks, Sunday at Lakers
  • Game To Watch: Monday at Grizzlies: The Kings enter Week 19 riding their longest losing streak in franchise history (16 games). Can they end that skid when they head to Memphis to face the Grizzlies – a team they have yet to beat in three tries so far this season.
