A familiar voice will make his debut as an NBA game analyst for NBC Sports during tonight’s matchup between the LA Clippers and Golden State Warriors on Peacock (10 p.m. ET) as hip-hop legend and global megastar Snoop Dogg officially joins the broadcast team.
He will announce the action courtside alongside Hall of Famer Reggie Miller and Terry Gannon during the 2nd half of the matchup, which concludes the tripleheader on Peacock NBA Monday after Knicks-Pistons (7 p.m. ET) and Nuggets-76ers (8:30 p.m. ET).
“This is a dream come true for me,” said Snoop Dogg in the announcement. “I can’t wait to bring a fresh vibe to the analysis while celebrating the skills and strategy these teams bring every night.”
The matchup in Los Angeles places Snoop in his hometown, where James Harden, Kawhi Leonard and the Clippers are looking to bounce back after their 6-game win streak was snapped with a loss to the Celtics on Saturday. They’ll host the NBA’s all-time 3-point leader, Stephen Curry, and the Warriors, who are currently 8th in the Western Conference standings.
