Keon Ellis, who went undrafted in the 2022 NBA Draft, began his NBA career with the Kings.
Keon Ellis is joining the Brooklyn Nets on a two-year contract.
ESPN reported Tuesday that Ellis, a four-year veteran shooting guard, will sign with the Nets for two years and $18 million. The deal was made official on July 6.
ESPN also reported that the second season of the deal is a mutual option, and either side can choose to opt-in.
Ellis, who went undrafted in the 2022 NBA Draft, began his NBA career with the Kings. His best season came in 2024-25, when he played in a career-high 80 games and averaged a career-best 8.3 points per game.

The Kings traded Ellis along with Dennis Schröder to Cleveland as part of a multi-team deal at last season’s trade deadline, and the 26-year-old averaged 8.3 points per game and shot 49.1% from the field in 29 games with the Cavaliers.
The Nets have been busy this offseason, having reportedly added veteran Julius Randle from Minnesota right before the Draft.
