NBA Fantasy: High Score perfect lineup from Week 2

Breaking down the perfect Yahoo High Score lineup from Week 1 based on fantasy output and positions.

Luka Dončić put up a season-high 90 High Score points in Sunday’s win against the Raptors.

It’s officially November and we’re through the first two weeks of the 2026-27 NBA regular season. It’s been a tough go of it for fantasy basketball managers trying to navigate an unusually high amount of injuries early on. But with that comes plenty of value from players having to step up into bigger roles.

For Yahoo High Score leagues, it’s still about the stars (and always a few surprising names) in the perfect lineup week-to-week. Let’s go over the top performances from Week 2.

More on the top performers

Luka Dončić: Dončić did that thing again. The thing where he waits until Sunday to pop off and lift your squad to a victory. Last week, Dončić used an 86-point fantasy performance to lift your team to end the week. In Week 2, he raised the stakes with 90 points to top all scorers, posting a 45-15-6 line with 5 steals and 1 block in 35 minutes in a win over Toronto. Managers who snagged Luka should be toward the top of the standings all season.

Cooper Flagg: Can you even call a season a breakout when it was this obvious? Flagg was a first-round asset in drafts and is already paying dividends for managers who took on the small, small amount of risk. He’s leading an improved Mavericks team that enters Week 3 4-2 on the season, averaging 26.8 points, six rebounds and 6.6 assists while posting elite stocks (3.8). Flagg had his best performance of the young season against the Heat, scoring 29 points with 11 assists, 6 rebounds and 8 stocks. Just wait until the triple-doubles start to come.

Victor Wembanyama: After a slow start (by his standards), Wembanyama is beginning to consistently reach his ceiling for fantasy. He posted back-to-back games with 75-plus fantasy points, including a 79-point gem on Halloween. The 43 points was the second highest total of his young career, the Spurs big also added 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 7 stocks in a win over the Timberwolves. Imagine if Wembanyama had gone for a higher rebound total? His ceiling remains astonishing.

Alperen Sengun: This is the beauty of High Score: even when a player misses games, he can still bring you home. The Rockets big spent most of last week on the mend while dealing with a sore back. Fortunately for managers, he started the week with 29 points, 9 rebounds, 9 assists and 7 stocks for 77 fantasy points in a win over the Hawks. Durability may be an issue but Sengun possesses one of the better ceilings in fantasy basketball.

Giannis Antetokounmpo: The new-look Heat got off to a slow start in the Antetokounmpo era with four straight losses, but bounced back in Week 2 with back-to-back wins to close things out. Antetokounmpo remains the focal point with a usage rate just over 30% of the season. He should contend for runner-up in the scoring race (Dončić is running away with it right now). Antetokounmpo ended Week 2 with a 31-18-10 triple-double to take down the Pacers.

Jeremiah Fears: There’s almost always one outlier in this story each week. In Week 2, it’s Fears, who went from a High Score of 24 points to 74, which has to be one of the biggest jumps in the history of this game. He put up 22 points, 8 rebounds, 13 assists and 6 stocks in just 29 minutes in the win over Sacramento. Dejounte Murray missed the game for the birth of his child, which put Fears into a more prominent role. That won’t always be the case, but we know what Fears’ ceiling can be.
