LAS VEGAS — A prolific 36-point fourth quarter and six double-digit scoring efforts overall helped lead the Memphis Grizzlies to a 96-86 comeback win over the Portland Trail Blazers in an NBA2K26 Summer League battle at Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas on Saturday night.
A competitive first half culminated with the Trail Blazers taking a five-point lead into intermission thanks to an impressive defensive effort in the second quarter after the opening period finished in a 24-24 tie. The Grizzlies answered by cutting the deficit down to two points going into the fourth quarter, and after the game was deadlocked again at 68-68 with 7:12 remaining, Memphis went on a 16-3 run over the ensuing 3:10 to open up enough of a cushion for a relatively comfortable victory.
Jaylen Wells led the Grizzlies with 23 points, adding seven rebounds, three assists and one steal. Cam Spencer finished with 17 points, four rebounds, four assists and one steal. Armando Bacot supplied a 14-point, 12-rebound double-double that also included two assists, four blocks and one steal. Tyler Burton registered 12 points, five boards, two assists, one steal and one block. Philandrous Fleming Jr. posted an 11-point, 10-rebound double-double and Lawson Lovering provided 10 points and six boards.
Sidy Cissoko paced the Trail Blazers with 20 points and supplemented them with four rebounds, three assists, three steals and one block. Caleb Love poured in 18 points. James Bouknight managed 15 points, four assists, two rebounds, two steals and one block. Yang Hansen recorded 10 points, five rebounds, three assists and one block.
Both teams return to the floor Tuesday. The Grizzlies will close out the night against the Golden State Warriors, while the Trail Blazers will face the New Orleans Pelicans in the game prior.
