LAS VEGAS – Jordan Miller scored 23 points to lead the Los Angeles Clippers to a 95-92 victory over the Houston Rockets in the NBA 2K26 Summer League on Friday at Pavilion.

Miller rounded out an impressive night with 11 rebounds, two steals and a block, while Cam Christie followed up with 21 points, six rebounds and two steals. However, it was Kobe Brown who helped his squad get out to a strong start with 14 points on 5-for-7 shooting, 2-for-2 from deep in the first half, before his teammates took over down the stretch.

The Clippers had the upper hand early in the game and held a six-point lead at halftime. They pushed it up to a 12-point deficit in the third, before Reed Sheppard knocked down three straight threes to make it a three-point game entering the final quarter. The Clippers regained composure and managed a comfortable lead the rest of the way, until the Rockets clawed their way back to make it a two-point game with five seconds left. However, they could not finish the job, as the Clippers did just enough to hold on for the win.

Sheppard was the dominant force for the Rockets early on, with 15 points on 5-for-14 shooting, including 3-for-8 from deep in the first half. He also kept up the pace in the second half and finished with a game-high 28 points, along with eight rebounds, four assists, four steals and three blocks. Kennedy Chandler followed up with 22 points, five rebounds, three assists and a steal, while Kevon Harris was the only other Rockets player to score in double digits, with 10 points.

The Clippers are back in action on Sunday against the Bucks (9:30 ET, NBA TV), while Houston is set to take on Detroit earlier in the day (4 ET, ESPN2).
