The Golden State Warriors defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 82-71 in the NBA 2K26 Summer League at Cox Pavilion on Saturday.
Golden State maintained the lead for the final three quarters of this game but really took control in the third quarter. They closed that frame on a 15-2 run to take a game-high 22-point lead, forcing Cleveland to shoot 0-for-13 from three-point range in that quarter. The Warriors shot 40 percent from the field and 28 percent from three-point range (8-for-29) while holding the Cavaliers to 33 percent from the field and 14 percent from long range (5-for-37). Golden State also forced 23 turnovers from Cleveland while attempting 13 more free throws.
The Warriors (3-2) were led by Chris Manon, collecting 17 points, five rebounds, two assists, four steals and two blocks. Jules Bernard led the bench with 16 points, three rebounds, two assists and two steals. Ja’Vier Francis finished with 14 points, seven rebounds and two blocks.
The Cavaliers (2-3) were led by Nae’Qwan Tomlin, tallying 17 points, seven rebounds, two assists and three steals. Tristan Enaruna had 13 points, six rebounds and two blocks. Jaxson Robinson registered 12 points and four boards, while Chaney Johnson led the bench with 12 points, four rebounds, three assists and three steals.
