The Chicago Bulls defeated the Indiana Pacers, 114-105, at Cox Pavilion in the NBA 2K26 Summer League on Monday.

The Bulls (1-2) finally secured their first win of the NBA 2K26 Summer League and did it against the Pacers (1-2) by virtue of a dominant performance. Chicago enjoyed an excellent start and jumped to a 32-18 lead in the first quarter, and the Bulls never looked back after building that 14-point edge. Even though the Pacers responded and outscored the Bulls by a 35-25 score in the second quarter, highlighted by Johnny Furphy’s posterizing dunk over rookie Noa Essengue, Chicago’s lead was never in danger.

The third quarter ended with a 28-28 tie, meaning the differential was only four points heading into the final 10 minutes. The Pacers didn’t score in the first 1:26 minutes of the final frame, and ultimately, that doomed their chances of turning things around. The Bulls closed things out and secured their first win of the NBA 2K26 Summer League in style by a nine-point differential after outscoring Indiana 29-24 in the final frame.

Matas Buzelis was the leading scorer for the Bulls with 28 points and five rebounds. Essengue had a solid showing and finished with 21 points. Lachlan Olbrich notched 12 points, nine rebounds and four assists. Javon Freeman-Liberty delivered 18 points, eight rebounds, five assists and two steals. Yuki Kawamura added 15 points and 10 assists off the bench.

Kam Jones and RayJ Dennis led the way for the Pacers with 20 points each. Dennis also had five assists and three steals, while Jones added four boards, six dimes and three swipes. Enrique Freeman finished with a 15-point, 10-rebound double-double. Phillip Wheeler ended with 16 points and three rebounds. Posterizing dunk aside, Furphy recorded 15 points, six rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks.
