LAS VEGAS — Olivier-Maxence Prosper turned in a game-high 22 points to lead the Dallas Mavericks to a 101-90 victory over the Boston Celtics in the NBA 2K25 Summer League in Las Vegas on Friday at Pavilion.
Both sides came out strong to start the first quarter, but the Mavs closed the frame on a 17-11 run to earn an eight-point lead heading into the second. They kept the momentum going and pushed it up to a 14-point difference before settling on a 10-point cushion at the break. The Celtics picked up their play in the new period and trimmed it to a seven-point game entering the fourth quarter, but the Mavs took back control and cruised to the finish.
Prosper shot 8-for-14 from the field and tallied four assists, a steal and a block as he led the way for the Mavericks. AJ Lawson followed up with 21 points, four rebounds, two assists and two steals, while Jazian Gortman and Jarod Lucas chipped in 13 points each.
Six players scored in double digits for the Celtics, led by Jaelen House, who had 18 points on 7-for-19 shooting, along with two rebounds and nine assists in 32 minutes of play. Baylor Scheierman followed up with 15 points, five rebounds and two assists, while Anton Watson added 14 points, eight rebounds, two assists and two blocks.
