
Naz Reid’s new deal would closely align with Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards, who is under contract through 2028-29.
Naz Reid made his way from undrafted ranks to sixth man success with the Minnesota Timberwolves, and both sides are committed to the partnership.
Reid declined his player option for next season, deciding to re-sign on a reported five-year, $125 million contract, per ESPN’s Shams Charania.

Reid, who averaged 14.2 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 27.5 minutes per game while shooting 46.2% from the field, including 37.9% from 3-point range (5.8 attempts). His two-way game and high motor provide the Wolves optionality up front behind both Rudy Gobert and Julius Randle; in 2024-25, Reid earned Kia NBA Sixth Man of the Year honors.
The 25-year-old center was entering the final season of a three-year extension, earned following a four-year run after first signing with the Wolves on a two-way contract in 2019.
